If I recall, there were jurors on the George Floyd case who questioned Chauvin's guilt but stated they voted to convict because they were afraid for their own lives if they let him go

The students testifying are pissed they’ve been put in this position and had to witness Metcalf’s death. Even the witness for the defense threw him under the bus. They want him convicted for what he’s put them through.

That is one thing that I wish Louisiana would lift the court's veil on trials and cameras in the courtroom. They allow cameras for some appellate and supreme court cases. And at the Supreme Court level, they provide the feed.
They can do it the same way, and most local trials have security cameras in the court rooms anyway. Why not just add regular small PTZ cameras to a court room and let the court manage the view and distribute the feed to the media or on the District Court's YouTube Channel.
A majority of states allow cameras in the courtroom. If privacy is a concern, maybe just the audio feed of the proceedings could be distributed to the media.
