I firmly believe you should be executed the way you took the life. After all, the murderer didn't think it was "cruel and unusual" when they killed the person.

We could just use what they use for those “deaths with dignity.”

I've never understood why we don't give a death row inmate an anesthetic.

Just as an individual would get put to sleep before surgery we should do the same thing to someone getting put to death.

Give the inmate the anesthetic after laying him/her down on a gurney in an outdoor firing range. Next, have a sniper/marksman place a fifty caliber round through the inmates head. Easy peezy lemon squeezy.

Also, I like the idea of the victim's family being able to dispose of the inmate in the same manner that the inmate disposed of his/her victim.

I wonder if the volume of applicants to be on the list broke their system

The family members of the victims should be given priority to be on the firing squad of the perpetrator who murdered or raped their family member.
