Why did you abandon the other thread?
Lol...did you miss me? Must be tough when friends don't want to hang out on the ranch with you.

OP Do you not realize that if the guy was hell bent on killing people he would have done that with whatever weapon he could have got his hands on.
Your argument is similar to this one. I don’t like sports cars because more people die from drunk people driving sports cars. I think we should ban sports cars.

Noooooooo. Just waiting on your explanation on why a high powered rifle is better than an ar15 for close quarters shooting (<100 yards) when you're shooting through trees and other brush.
So let's hear it mister white trash.
Why is a higher caliber, with a more lethal round and far longer range be better than a smaller caliber round in such a situation? And why is an ar15 a horrible gun to use in such a situation?
And it's a plantation. Not a ranch. Get it right, white trash.

so I shouldn't be allowed to vote now b/c I'm willing to engage in a raional discussion about how to stop kids from being slaughtered like live stock. That sounds like a over reaction. Grow up.
I just don't see the huge gain as a society we get by allowing these things to be purchased. I get pistols for self defense, Rifles and shotguns for hunting a self defense etc. Even the goverment tyranny argument I think society can defend against that with the aforementioned arsenal we would still have at our disposal. Just don't see the need for AR's AK's, whatever you wanna call em.

Do you own land? Do you have wild hogs over running your land?
No? You don't?
Then don't tell me what the frick I do and don't need

Thoughts?
The answers to these questions opens up a very large discussion that would entail the ratings of a large number of weapons on the market.
You will have to learn a lot before a discussion on banning can take place because of all the variants out there.

Your overreaction is nauseating and overplayed...
Pistols kill more people every single day and you don't say a word
More people died today from abortion, car wrecks, alcoholism, overdoses, smoking, etc., etc.
And not a word from you has been said... your argument holds no weight, your opinions hold no value
You are a hypocrite for calling out one and ignoring the others... fight for those first, and maybe I'll entertain you in an honest conversation

I only threw out the low calibers comment b/c they're so small and thereby mostly only good for carrying a lot at once and the low recoil is also good for killing a bunch of ppl. It's really semantics.
If these style weapons (I'm not going to define it at this time, I'm not writing the legislation, just making an arguement) were banned or seriously restricted I believe we would see a big drop in mass murder style shootings in this country.

Dude....do you understand that 90%+ of all gun deaths in America are due to handguns? AR bans would not put a dent in our gun violence problem

I'm in a hunting club. We trap hogs. This has been far more effective than any hunting method. fyi

I get pistols for self defense,
It's more dangerous than a standard AR. You approve of it?

abortion, car wrecks, alcoholism.....REALLY. not even close to the same thing. choices and accidents do not equate to innocent children being slaughtered while trying to get an education.

Good for you. We trap them too. But you see, you have to kill 70% of them just to keep the population STABLE. Trapping them isn't enough buddy.
So tell me. What am I to use to kill 3-7 hogs in rapid succession before they run away?
