Get your head out of your arse and read what's in the MOU release that's been being reported by every major news outlet....including Fox News

quote:

6 — The United States of America undertakes with regional partners to develop a definitive, mutually agreed plan with at least USD 300 billion for the reconstruction and economic development of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The mechanism for the implementation of this plan will be finalized as part of a final deal within 60 days. All required licenses, waivers and permissions needed for the relevant financial transactions will be granted by the United States of America.

I believe it will be access to financing. Gulf States do sovereign wealth investing better than most. Iran will have access to “borrow” the funds. What the terms of repayment will be still to be negotiated - but nobody is giving Iran 300 billion.

Or, you can say how it really happened. Trump underestimated Iran and “cut bait” to get out. He took a big loss on this.

its utter defeat.

We're paying at least $300 billion to rebuild Iran.......and the regime is still in charge and now even stronger than before since they know that any future US air and naval campaign isn't a threat to their grasp on power. And that they can bring us to our knees politically by shutting down commercial shipping in the strait for a few months.

This phrase captures the good that can come from this agreement, I agree. We need to cut our losses and get out.

The other good that could come from this conflict is that hopefully more people will see Netanyahu and Israel more clearly for what they are…

He had some intelligence that wasn’t right in hindsight but at the time, but many intelligent people believed the regime was weak and could be defeated in an air campaign

I keeping wonder that. I think he believed the people would rise up to the status quo in power and start a civil unrest. It didn't happened. I bet the CIA was behind his failed intelligence. Don't trust the CIA. At least he didn't put boots on the ground like W did with Iraq and the search for WMD.

I'm pretty sure it was reported that actually the CIA was right and advised not to go in but Trump listened to somebody in his cabinet (can't remember who) who fed him Mossad intelligence that caused him to go in. That was in like WSJ or NY Times or one of those I'm pretty sure.

The deal is absolutely terrible. If you look at the points of the treaty, what did the “war” accomplish? The uranium portion is still being discussed.
