As long as Magic Mountain is in Santa Clarita, I'll be vacationing there.

I've been to Colorado and plan to go back. Beautiful state. Sometimes you gotta look beyond the politics and take advantage of good ole nature. It's good for the soul.

Also want to visit Maine.

Went to Hawaii 2 years ago and absolutely had a blast. Was really unexpected, even though I had heard good things. Doubt I would want to live there, everything is expensive, but would gladly visit again....

You are overreacting. I would not allow my political beliefs interfere with a great vacation. Who are you punishing, the state or yourself?

My wife and I have decided against vacations recently because they would’ve been to Hawaii and California. We won’t even visit her family in Illinois, but they are super liberal so we wouldn’t have much fun there anyway. I refuse to fund the economies of liberal areas where the people and government would be perfectly content with socialism. Are we over reacting?

No...not over reacting at all. In fact the only way to stay red is to make a concerted effort to never stray far from home and never allow yourself in a situation where you will encounter anyone, more than casually, who is in the least bit different than you. You also have to avoid any information from any source which does not confirm your world view. Allow any of these to happen more than rarely and you will find yourself on a slippery slope to soviet style communism, comrade.

You are not overreacting.

I won't go anywhere I will get arrested for defending myself.

I won't go into blue States nor do I go into blue cities.

Not everywhere in a liberal state there are liberals and vice versa. Yeah I'd say you are just a tad.

I refuse to go to San Francisco to visit my sister. If she want to see me, she'll have to come to me.

It really is blue counties vs red counties. There are plenty of amazing places to visit in blue states that are actually quite conservative. I am very wary to enter into blue counties where I could get charged with murder for what would clearly be self defense. Why put yourself in that risky situation?

I will say, most business owners in CA (and I’d assume Hawaii) are Republicans due to taxes mainly. By not going, you’re probably hurting more Republican business owners more deeply than the states. But I don’t know that for sure obviously.

It’s your personal decision. You aren’t overreacting.

Their state governments boycott entire states.

Frick ‘em.

We don’t go to New Orleans anymore for that reason, and the risk of getting shanked. The Mississippi land mass is really competing hard for tourist dollars and is an overall better experience than New Orleans now.

Won’t visit the west coast either. Our next wine trip will be to Argentina or Chile. California can rot in its own filth.

Look at county where you are planning to visit. Some blue states are red outside the cities.

I am amazed at how people bitch about Democrats and their policies but will give them their money.

Just like the retards who bitch about MSNBC,CNN & NPR but watch and listen to them.

Also, the tards who bitch about BLM but call people who refuse to watch the NBA snowflakes.

What a fricked up country we have, full of hypocrisy.
