$700.00 a month premium for family of 5 is cheap. Which company is the insurer?

Im not talking relatively, I’m talking in general. That is insane for Insurance for a family.

Homeowner’s insurance is insane and truck insurance is insane too.

It used to not be nearly this bad in all 3 of those sectors.

They are all STEALING from us and the people that are subsidized and get FREE HEALTHCARE, YAYYYYY frickING FREE MONEY are the main god damn reason for it.

And when my fricking family is fricking struggling right now it pisses me off to know how many lazy entitled pieces of shite we have in the is country leeching of the system.

And this bullshite thread trying to normalize it is part of the god damn problem.

I pay about $175/wk for the top tier plan my company offers for 5 (two are adults but still under 25) that that $175 also includes dental top tier and eye glasses

But that is pre taxes so it come off by check then I pay taxes on the rest.

Seems expensive until you go through the medical costs my family of 5 has gone through over the years and it’s cheap compare to the alternative. (I had cancer 20 years ago)

Many covid medical positions will be eliminated if no funding from subsidies.

If the juiced subsidies end, it will go back to what it was in 2019, when ACA subsidies were already generous

I pay $330 a month for the best package the plant offers for my wife and I, which is BCBS PPO. The company pays the rest. My kids are grown and have their own insurance with their companies.

I'm single and pay $320 a month for the exact same coverage, no referrals for specialists and $20 deductible with United Healthcare 80 Broad plan.

I own a small business with around 10 employees. My wife and I are high earners. I’ve shopped everywhere possible and a high deductible plan for us is over $1200/mth. Kids are grown and on their own, no maternity coverage, no pre-existing conditions.

Pre Obamacare, 2 kids on our plan was around $400 for the family.

Some of you need to look into healthcare ministries. I pay about $140/mo and its there for emergencies only. I'm relatively health individual. If you are as well, look into it as it'll save you big time.

I recently turned down a job offer that had 100 percent employer paid health insurance. These places do exist.

Everyone in the company gets it. The Ca employees have even better plans than mine, 0 deductible for them and 500 for me. We’re owned by a global F100 company and our parent company has a very different opinion on healthcare.

Who are these people that don’t have affordable healthcare?

Me. I had coverage before Obama. Then my insurance company left the state. And there wasn't any comparable coverage. Found more and more expensive plans. One ended up getting sued for making false promises on coverage. I got back l month's worth of what I was paying.

Obama F'd the industry on a known lie and to put citizens in slavery to the Fed. Gov.

Same here amg.
Self employed, self insured. Wanted a decent plan without a massive deductible. So ours is 2k/mth with a $4500 deductible. Prior to Obamacare, for a great plan with very reasonable deductible monthly
Prem was around 400/mth for both of us.
