Completely missed the point. The criticisms today are mainly around whether it was NECESSARY for the president of the United States to take time and shitepost over the death of a celebrity who hated him.
What did DJT accomplish except to give some ammo and attention to his detractors that can eat up the news cycle now for the next several days? Aside from “owning Libs”, did the shitepost help advance any MAGA initiatives?
To Trump’s detractors, he can do no right. Some have completely sprinted off in the opposite direction where he can never do any wrong no matter what he does.
Neither extreme should be accused of using their brains.

I agree Rob Reiner was not a model person, or father for that matter. Over the years I have observed that lunatic democrats tend to be obsessed with control. Democrats want total submission and control......that's their modus operandi.
So not surprising Reiner and the democrats are completely eat up with TDS. President Trump is a true Alpha-male (confident, leader-like). That model clashes with the feminization of masculinity that now passes as manhood. No wonder our young men are scraping their penises and subjecting themselves to this awful gender transition surgery. Even more disturbing is people who celebrate the murder of a Charlie Kirk. A Charlie Kirk who tried to dialogue with them.
Unfortunately, it is often those closest to people like Reiner (spouse, son, or daughter) who bear the brunt of their obsession with control. You can never quite meet their insane demands.
Reiner's son stabbed him to death. That tells you all you need to know about the depraved mental state of Rob Reiner. Rob Reiner hated and his son hated him. We reap what we sow.

he is right but he didn't have to say what he said. When a person in his position says what he said it's no better than Joe Biden calling everyone that is MAGA a fascist.
