LDH reporting 1,231 reinfections. Think that is over the last week.

18% of the population has had a positive test in Louisiana.

If Louisiana is testing just 30,000 people in the last week, they could’ve easily gotten 1,231 false PCR positives from people who already had a PCR positive (assuming their first PCR positive was legit).

The goalposts always move. First, our governor said the vaccine is the light at the end of the tunnel of this pandemic, and now he’s saying must get boosters and vaccinated 5 year olds.

2 years later, I’m really disappointed this is where we are. Let people live. Government officials fear mongering and MSM media are the reasons why 2022 will be like 2020 at this rate.

The sports leagues are shutting down for a cold.

When the a super bowl is played it may be the first time in world history where a virus is the world champion. It’s possible one team could be down several key players due to Covid19 and for that reason they lose the Super Bowl….insanity.

They are probably gone by now.

It seems like natural immunity and vaccines are paralleling each other at about 6ish months and then waning immunity for the next several months.

they’re still there? I bet. Our bodies don’t produce them unless they’re fighting the infection.

haven't been tested, but I think I have it too. Low grade fever, minor aches, chills, and minor headache. I think I'm going to be fine.

Ibuprofen seems to work well. Do 600mg.

Why does everyone keep rushing out to get tested at the first sight of the sniffles?

Home test.
Why wouldn’t you do a home test - if you have one - while sick during a pandemic?

Because chances of the result being a false positive with these tests is basically a coin flip.

I’m thinking omicron is going to end this pandemic, because we’re all going to catch it. We’re all going to be OK. And we’re all going to have natural antibodies.

A mild strain that spreads very efficiently may be very good for the human population. Add the vaccine to that and folks will have seriously strong protection in the event they then catch a stronger strain.

Joe Mercola? Really? That’s funny. Try some type of credible peer reviewed research next time.

Where are the stats on those with confirmed natural immunity getting reinfected? I don’t know a single person that’s had the virus getting reinfected.

Me and the fam got it June 2020 and just tested positive this past week. We live in FL and were exposed multiple times in the meantime but it appears at least for us that the antibodies wore off. But now we’ve got them again. Pretty mild symptoms both times.

Ridiculous statement. Natural immunity is broad long-lasting and durable.

This just does not appear to be true.

I had covid. I wish it was true.

And it varies from person to person case to case.

Some people will have longer lasting than others.

The vaccines are more uniform in their waning, that is definitely true.

I don’t know why this is so hard to understand for some people.

Because it isn't true. Natural immunity in most people wanes in a similar fashion to the vaccines.

Some people don't though.

Either way, you might catch it but your body will know what to do.

To be clear, I am only referring to CATCHING Covid again.

I am not referring to whether the symptoms are lessened or not.

Natural immunity is great. It doesn't last forever like this board weirdly thinks.

It appears that 98% of the country without natural immunity will have contracted the virus over the holidays.

That will be bad news for Pedo Joe and Dr. Falsy. They want to shut everything down before that happens.

Studies showed natural immunity lasting at least 3 times longer than the vaccines. And they tried to report this as a negative finding. So bizarre.

My brother has it, and his wife, too. They had a get together last Sunday with her family. Four of her family members have now got it, two of which are currently in the hospital.

My 87 year old mom was exposed to my brother and his wife on Thursday. Yeah, I know... she's 87 years old and has lived a good life, but I still hope she doesn't go out because of this. So far, no symptoms for her, but I have another brother who is now running temperature and having chills and body aches. Both brothers were together on Monday and Tuesday. So far he's refusing to test to see if it's Covid related. He should. He's very overweight and one of those people who would definitely have "co-morbidities".

Like I said, hoping my mom doesn't get this, but it seems like this is very contagious and passes easily from one person to another, so she easily could. But based on two in the hospital out of 7 people, I can't really say it's "not as bad" as Delta was.
