Agree idk something about him he just seems stiff and restricted. Like he is scared of making a mistake (understandable).
I trust the reports that he's a genius and have to admit everything out of his mouth is eloquent and well stated. I think he's a little fresh and he'll grow into the role as time goes on

Speech has been a bit of a dud. All of his sentences seem wildly disconnected from the previous.

The guy is cheesy, and extremely politician'ey in his speech, and the jews absolutely love him - even though they won't vote for him.
Terrible pick by President Trump, absolutely abhorrent, but it's about President Trump. Nobody actually gives a shite about the VP anymore, especially with President Trump being the candidate, and so, I guess, in that case, he's a, "safe" choice.

I think the deciding factor in his pick for VP was Vance’s book and more so the movie. I think they hope that will resonate with a lot of independents that wouldn’t have voted for Trump otherwise. I think a lot of conservatives here underestimate how much Trump turns off a lot of independents, especially women.
I think the thought is they will gain more votes from women and independents with Vance than they would from african americans with Scott. I was in favor of Scott too. But I admit that I don’t know if having him as VP really moves the needle, or if african americans would still vote 90% democrat as they always do.

I agree. Boring storyteller and a milquetoast delivery. I expected much more rabble-rousing from a 39 year old Marine.
Thought Vivek's 8 minute speech yesterday was exponentially better than the ~half hour we just listened to Vance.
