Wendy's is far worse than a price problem. Wife and I got bacon cheese burgers at a Wendy's in Miss in early June and they were a sloppy inedible mess. No lettuce, tomato, onion just a runny ketchup based sauce. We threw them away after one bite.

The apps thing piss me off. Every fricking fast food joint seems to have an app. I refuse to download apps for fast food restaurants. I also hate the in-store-only coupons that places like McDonald's has. Just.. goddamn, offer universal pricing. Whether a customer is going through the drive thru or going inside, without having to depend on apps or coupons to get a decent price..

Makes sense. Thanks for the actual response instead of just a downvote. And yeah, this area is definitely as safe Red as anywhere in the country.

Spaghetti & Meatballs
Lasagna
1 Dr. Pepper

$50 after tip.

I told Mr. Bluestem we’ll pay $10 more at the fancier Italian place next time.

Chicken, bacon, and cheese with fries and a coke is $6 at Wendy's. Gotta go for the biggie bags.

Ribeye bought and vacuum packed during the height of the pandemic for 6.00, granted I played the shopping game of all the local grocery stores and bought meat and chicken the day of or day prior to shelf expiration dates. Filled up 2 deep freezers and still have approximately half in each one. Same thing with vegetables and haven’t bought anything out at a fast food other than 2 trips to Chick-fil-A for breakfast in a very long time. I refuse to pay 60-75 for a decent steak at a restaurant and fast food hasn’t been a thing for years. I don’t know how younger families that do drive thru can handle it. The best item I had gotten was 18 packs of Swift ribs for 25% of original cost. I bought every one they had. Started seeing other people doing same thing so it ended up being a race in the mornings if who was first.

Jr. Bacon cheeseburger, small fries, 4 nuggets. Can’t remember if it comes with a drink. But it’s like 5 or 6 dollars.

Problem is that burger use to be the size of what their burgers are now. That jr bacon cheeseburger is a tad bigger than a silver dollar now.

No tip at FG. 1 fry per 2 to 3 people, skip shake and maybe waters instead of coke.

Grocery and fast food prices are insane, but white suburban women don’t care. Their #1 priority this election is women’s reproductive rights aka they really want to murder babies. We’re doomed.

Right?

You DO know that nearly 70 countries currently have lower inflation rates than the US, right? That many of those countries are traditional economic powerhouses such as Djibouti, Grenada, San Marino, and Cyprus, right?

RIGHT? Global Finance data

We would get the 8 piece chicken family dinner (all thighs, 2 large sides and 4 biscuits) at Popeyes to take to the farm and several years ago it was $17.00. It is now $28.00

It's almost like shutting down the world's economy for a medicinal cold (with a symptom that includes having no symptoms) was a catastrophically horrific idea that everyone saw coming, except smooth brained, idiotic, sheep who have to be told everything in order to survive the perils of existing

How fricking retarded do you have to be to rely on propaganda to even exist as a functioning being on this planet??

We are still feeling the results of the shutdown and nobody is willing to admit they were wrong... hubris, arrogance, and shame are the cause of this, and the leftist governments across the world are to blame

Fast food just simply isn’t worth it anymore. You need to support local establishments.

I go to Vines up here in Mississippi for breakfast and lunch a lot. For breakfast you can get scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, a biscuit, and 2 large pancakes for under $10. They also provide free hot coffee

Next time, drink water and share fries.

As a way to cut cost and be a little bit healthier, that’s fine. But the point of this thread is that you have to lower your standard of living just to get close to breaking even. If we keep this trajectory, that cup of water might become a luxury because they’ll charge you for the paper cup.
