No, it's not weird to have opinions on things.

No, it just means you don't pick one team and become tribal about it. You think independently about each issue rather than checking the box for your team.

If you are pro choice what are you conservative about? No knock just interested.

Not really. Being a Christian isn't a pre-requisite to being a moral person who believes in the rule of law, free market economics, and the Constitution's limitations, separation, and division of powers between three branches and three levels of government.
As for the pro-choice side, I don't fault anyone for being pro-choice. While I find abortion abhorrent, I also recognize that it is one of the few issues where there truly are two sides of incredibly well-meaning people with absolutely valid moral and/or economic stances for why they believe what they believe on that issue. It is why I would find it shocking that liberals cannot respect others' views on that issue if I did not know the progressive playbook better than they do.

Nope. I’m conservative, pro-life and Catholic. Welcome to the conservative club.

I can't answer for the op, but my #1 priority is the economy when voting.

Get me 10 random people who self-identify as “conservatives” and I’ll show you at least 8 notably different and distinct definitions of a conservative amongst them. Everyone always talks about it not knowing that most of them are on varying different pages on the characteristics that they believe make them a conservative. Thus it really doesn’t matter to what others think anyway.

Kind of, but you have every right to think that way. I don't believe tax payers should have to pay for the murder of babies but you think that's OK that's OK bro. I don't think you are a conservative though.

We are brothers. I'm a retired Catholic altar boy who abandoned the church for no reasons other than lack of interest

So what are you conservative about if you are pro choice? You ignored the question. I’m not a 1 issue voter either but being conservative means something in a moral sense as well. Either you are conservative morally ethically emotionally economic or not. you just vote Republican for other reasons?

It means your a liberaterian

That doesn’t add up to atheism. Was there another step after you left the Catholic church due to disinterest?

What areas define you as conservative?

So no distinction between social conservatism and political conservatism?
All or none?

Remember, there is a lot of room between:
A. Someone shouldn’t do that;
B. Someone should be socially ridiculed for doing that;
C. Someone should be ostracized and shunned for doing that;
D. The government should make that person pay a fine
E. The government should forcibly remove that person from society temporarily via prison
F. The government should permanently remove that person from society via prison or execution
I find that there’s a lot of things one can find abhorrent for which the proper method for dealing with and/or curbing said behavior is neither a fine nor prison/execution. Considering those are government’s primary means of punishing wrongdoing, government is often not the ideal vehicle for solving many problems.
There are some problems which government is uniquely equipped to deal with, but there are also others where government is not the ideal problem-solver.

Just means you’re fricked in the head. Before long you’ll be dying your hair purple and getting reconstructive surgery yelling at people to call you ma’am.
