BofA: "Transitory Hyperinflation Ahead" Last week, when discussing the latest earnings call commentary, Bank of America said "Buckle up! Inflation is here", and showed a chart of the number of mentions of “inflation” during earnings calls which exploded, more than tripling YoY per company so far, the and the biggest jump in history since BofA started keeping records in 2004.

Who knew that just one week later BofA would need a bigger chart... a much bigger chart. As BofA's Savita Subramanian writes, after the third week of earnings. mentions of “inflation” have now quadrupled YoY; and after last week, mentions have jumped nearly 800% YoY!

Be prepared to hear the word “transitory” ALOT when talking about inflation while the democrats are in charge.

It will be the buzz word used to soften the blow until the collapse.

if people are still hanging onto dollars outside of an emergency fund, time has quickly begun to run out to preserve your wealth.

An S&P 500 index fund will roughly track with the monetary expansion rate and therefore will at least mostly preserve your present day value.

Real estate will only continue to go up long term, although will take a hit when interest rates go up.

Crytocurrencies are emerging as a store of value and are outperforming every other asset class as people flock to them.

Precious metals and metals used in industry offer a last line of defense as an inflationary hedge

The absolute worst thing you can do right now is keep excess liquidity. Keep enough to cover 6 months of expenses, but no more. It is currently and will continue to be degraded in value.

Yeah, it’s trying to put your cash where it doesn’t evaporate anyways. I guess if you believe over the long haul stocks will still gain an average of 7-10% annually you just go all equities and ride it out.

Is there a good ETF or ETN for undeveloped land?

To be fair, this is more of an indication of perceived inflation as opposed to objective evidence of inflation itself.

That being said it’s coming.

I'll disagree here. There will be a pullback and a big one.

In the form of a stablecoin, yes. And you'll get better interest rates than your bank could ever dream of giving you.

But even I have reservations about that. FDIC insurance on my emergency fund is hard to give up.
