That is always one of the reddest states. Thank you Trump. Just HAD to push Graham through. All that mattered was fricking loyalty, not could she win, or was actually a decent candidate.

NO fricking excuse for losing SC or I should say, giving it away.

What I don't get is why Darlene Graham decided to run, regardless of circumstance, she simply wasn't a good candidate. There's several Republicans tonight that were not.

He's never been good at picking employees, making appointments, or pushing the correct candidates. It's a flaw he has

The Republicans literally didn't even run a candidate...they allowed his sister to run for the position. This is a dereliction of the responsibility of the state GOP.

You lose all of these seats by having a do nothing majority for 2 years and starting a wildly unpopular military operation.

It happens over and over again and we ask the same questions every time

Show me a state party that will go against the president. Any president in its own party.

This. This pattern of not doing primaries just isn't gong to fly. People want the right to choose

I guess at some point it doesn't matter. Once the Dems get to 51 + 80% Fetterman, it's over anyway. The modern left wing Democrat establishment will never break rank with the politburo, or horsetrade or be reasonable....

Adding a few unexpected wins is like kicking a field goal after the game is over.

Yes, Trump's picks are killing it tonight. People should have the right to choose their candidates. Trump did this - and you are right to an extent - the string pullers didn't have the balls to do the right thing.

Meh… she won the Senate but most of our local elections held strong. Governor also went red. She’ll be a one and done once we prop John Wright Jr. or Timmons up next go around. Darlene was just a cardboard cut out and no one liked her. She was legit retarded. She thought SC has 50 million residents. She also doesn’t even fricking live here anymore. Absolutely the worst candidate for Senate in the history of politics.

You ran a a dead guys sister w/ zero political zeal or experience.
She was a bad choice, but it was a short notice candidate
Paxton was a bad candidate , but to get blown out in Texas only proves to me the idiots who left the stupid policies of California and other democratic ran states are voting blue and expecting a different result .

The Kansas and Iowa senate seats are a huge surprise the lack of rural voters actually voting is crazy low.
