Based on Lloyd Austin and Bishop Garrison's updated efforts to "root out extremism", and what they consider to be "extreme". How many of these men who lost their lives on that beach be considered "extremists" in their views if they were to be transported to modern times? Would it exceed 90%?

Unfortunately, most…greatest generation of our country’s history. If it was up to the queer left, they’d tear down every monument pertaining to them.

Absolutely

Maybe two or three total that would only be 'borderline extremists'

The rest would return from Normandy and the FBI would lock them up (or just die trying as I doubt the Greatest Generation would 'trust the system')

Those men died on June 6 so that we can indoctrinate and mutilate our children, open our borders, and put men in jail for defending themselves.

In reality it would be 99%. But in 1950-60 movies almost all of the WWII enlisted infantry men were from New York City. Has anyone else noticed they all had Bronx accents?

By the standards of 1944? A few.

By today's standards? Most.

As just one example, at least half of them (probably 75%) would have been appalled by Brown vs Board. Most probably didn't even want Blacks in the Army with them.

The location of the Overton Window is not static over time.

All of them were straight white men who valued faith, family and service to country. That's the very definition of extremism.

A count hair from 100% (and that includes all the closeted gays that were in the military - they'd hate this shite)

Being as 99% of the military was white I'd say the entire armed forces of the day would be labeled racist (because they were) (thats just how it was)

Not sure about extremist, but certainly they were “privileged” to get the exclusive opportunity to jump off the PT boat, into the water, avoid getting shot by the Germans, run across the beach and hopefully climb a thin rope ladder up the side of a cliff to an unknown outcome.

People today suck on many fronts, but especially those having to do with grievances, wrongs and wokeness. Soft.

Well, most of the time the valor of the WW2 vets are qualified by woke standards as being achieved by racism and bigotry. So, I would say a 100%?
