That's not true. You take liberties with reality. US warships go to the front of the line. They get to cut. If Trump wants to take it back then its on him to then pay for the canal's upkeep . Since 40% of the ships passing through are US ships....he's gonna have to charge.

No. It's about controlling the PC. The Darien gsp only recently became an issue under Biden. The PC issue isnt new.
He speaks about how we built it. Americans died to build it. This is American pride. Not the Darien gap, which tough immigration law enforcement will stop that flow.
This is very strategic for Chyna. They may get ballsy on this front and we better be prepared for whatever they decide to do. Which can include putting dormant chips in our infrastructure into play. Then you have all the Chinese on the other side of the Mexican border. We need our military on our border from the tip of TX to San Diego.

A little side note, what do the Panama Canal and the locks in Plaquemine, La. have in common?

We built the damn thing and then signed it over that they wouldn’t charge our ships exorbitant prices. Panama sold the management of the ports on either side to the Chinese who now are charging us higher prices……but this is all out there had you taken 2 seconds to Google it.

Sounds like these baws want to socialize the costs by taking it over.
6 months ago the Panama canal wasnt even an afterthought here, now the entire clan is up in arms just because its what Donny wants. Shows you how easily it is to excite people on virtual non issues.
