They facilitate the illegals moving up through Mexico through their cheap 30 day tourist visas. Fly in from China or other places, catch up with a guide to take you north. San Salvador and Managua are your starting points

Yeah, well we need negotiators we can fleece.
Anchoring is a tried and true negotiating tactic, and it is taught in every seminar on negotiating I have ever seen. It is, by definition, lying. When you anchor, you claim your position is much less (if you are a buyer) than you will actually accept. Eventually, you give ground to the position you will actually accept.

China does not operate the Panama Canal. They operate 2 ports associated with the canal. Panama operates the Panama Canal. Even if the US takes back the Panama Canal, the Chinese will still operate the ports next to the canal.
