she walked into the courthouse and got a job that day - shite she had a pension and everything!
I'm sure we couldn't get around having court typists before we had the ability to record at a high level. For some reason we now have the ability to record at a high level and have that machine type out what's being said. Yet we still pay court typists so a judge can give his buddy's wife a job. That's just one example.

my dad was a plumber for an army reserve building
Why do we have so many army reserve buildings? I'll tell you why. The government created construction jobs with Ws building of thousands of new reserve buildings we don't need. Why the hell does Washington Parish where I live need two reserve buildings when a storm comes and the government turns around and turns storm clean up over to their govt lobbyist FEMA contractors anyway?
Quit spending all the money you have, plus more.
Also, if there's one person in a government building I only need to convince that one of what I want to do to get a permit for something. If there's two, then it's two. You see how this works?

Earlier today the mail man left a small package at the base of our mailbox because it wouldn't quite fit inside.
Same thing happened to me last week. I've complained to the PO manager about this happening before but yet it seems to be a reoccuring thing. Carrier has even pulled up to my garage door and just dropped my delivery in the middle of the driveway just to save 30 seconds by not having to get out of her car.

A significant step was when the government started affirmative action.
It changed the motive from government service to we owe you a job and pay because you are a minority/woman.
Completely changed the mindset. It's now a semi welfare job with a union to fight against the taxpayers.

Then you hear about stuff like IRS agents owing unpaid taxes to the tune of $1.5b billion while they are the ones auditing, foreclosing, etc... on people. There are hundreds of stories like this and they add up. Villified is a LEARNED behavior
This is the one that gets to me the most. Part of an IRS employees job description should be they have to be current on tax filings and payments and if not, grounds for automatic dismissal.

Is there somewhere where it states that he must do more than he did?

This may be a troll post, still an interesting discussion.
While working at the VA the phrase that was often stated: 90% of the work is done by 10% of people.

Unions are horribly inefficient. Projects in open shop country are at least 25% cheaper and are finished quicker than union land.
A project we worked on in the Northeast, per the union specs, we had to hire 1 full time person for every 3 pieces of small equipment to "operate" that equipment. So if you have 3 generators, you now have to employ 1 union jerkoff with all of his bullshite "required down time" and breaks to sit there and do nothing. So for a project that is worth several 100 million dollars, you have an army of nonworking union guys getting paid for nothing.

We didnt allow anything. Union and government bosses have been openly corrupt since their inception.

Unions and federal employees have done that all on their own. Below average employees are afforded job security that they would not have in the private sector.

I've complained to the PO manager
Apparently the dude that lived in my house owes plenty of child support, as I get two or three letters a week from the AG's office. I've been crossing out the address and writing "doesn't live here" on the envelopes, the AG keeps sending them, and the PO keeps delivering them.
So the AG has this guy's SSN, knows where he works, and the state presumably knows where he lives, and yet this. I wonder if baby momma knows how little effort the state puts into getting her the cash.
Meanwhile, the AG takes my $ for child support, and holds on to it for an average of nine days before depositing it in my ex-wife's account. Both in Texas, with the same f'ing bank.

I bet your grandma didn't have to wait for a black woman to interview for that job before they would even fill the position.
Short story... shite is way different now

Realistically, have you worked in or with government in the last 20 years? There are talented people, some of which are actually true believers, but a lot of the people employed are useless.

If you ever have to supervise union personnel, you would already have an answer to your questions.

Unions have done a wonderful job ruining their own reputations, without any outside interference.
Exhibit A: While new car prices are out of control and quality going down, UAW went on strike to get a 20% raise for working 20% less. All of that will be passed onto the consumer.

Unions have their place in the private sector - not in the public sector...

There is a reason why the saying "good enough for government work" is not a compliment.

What happened to those jobs?
They became filled with people who are lazy and it takes 4 people to do one person's job.

We didn't. We didn't vilify the FBI either, they did it to themselves.
