It’s that simple. If you refuse to call her what she wants the left gets to paint her as a victim and then it’s about us being bullies.

There was a huge red referendum against exactly what you’re promoting.

Calling him by whatever girl name he wants is being polite. Not wanting to bastardize the English language has nothing to do with politeness. If the tranny proclaimed that 2+2 was 5, would you go around like an idiot telling him that he was right to "be polite?" No, of course you wouldn't, because stating objective truths has nothing to do with politeness.

You're just playing their game. Like Global Thermonuclear War, the only winning move is not to play.

There used to be tremendous social stigma around this stuff. I remember divorce being a social death sentence. From a young age if you were fat or weird, you got bullied.

It was harsh but it worked

This is the type of shite the left does to usurp moral high ground. The right calls her something she doesn’t want and people feel bad for her.

I disagree. For starters, he is a man. Period.
It's not about being polite..... I wouldn't allow someones delusion to dictate my speech.
We see and know he's a man.
Why should we participate in his delusion?
He's the one with the issue, not others around him. The burden is his to deal with and that burden shouldn't be forced on others.

Exactly, those who are willing to lie with their language to socially fit in are untrustworthy.

Here people pretend they disagree but in reality they are encouraging submission to the lie.

Destetable people.

No. This is how you get panties attached to your face to stop a virus. "She" is a he. You dont get to choose reality. Reality hits hard. Deal with it. Cutting off your dick doesnt change that, either. Just makes you a man with his dick cut off.

A lot of responses to this so i'll just respond to the latest comment.

All of you have to realize this is exactly what the dems want. They wanted her in office to create this division. Dems will call her "Congresswoman" and refer to her as "She" while republicans do the opposite and all the while they get to create a narrative of victimization that is going to play into sympathetic voters.

If I were to meet a transgender (and I have) and they were polite and non-militant and they asked me to call them by a female name, I would and the "She/Her" flows naturally from that. I feel this is true of most americans. Half of you internet badasses wouldn't be rude to someone's face over this if they were polite to you as well.

My point is simple, we can oppose everything this person stands for legally while still not ceding the moral high ground to the left. Don't let her use the female restroom, don't let her compel speech, push her on the biological reality of sex by all means.

If you want to be polite refer to it as it wishes.

If you wish to not be polite, which is your right, use whichever terms you want.

We have free speech.

Again. I disagree.
Why would my refusing to participate in their delusion be any more rude than them expecting me to participate in their delusion???
Why should their delusional wishes be any more important than my sane wishes?

It's not about being rude or polite, it's about not living in a pretend world.

Fine, my pronoun is "His Royal Highness".

If someone wants their name pronounced a certain way, certainly. It's their name, and if the dash don't be silent I'll try to remember to say it that way.

A name is custom and personal, and there are still limits to how much I'm going to indulge some weirdo about their name. And you don't get to mandate that I ignore the English language when it comes to gender; you don't get to tell me to pretend that he is a she. I'm not doing it.

This is nonsense that enables further lifting up mental illness as some manner of virtue. Where do we draw the line?

If this dude experienced auditory hallucinations, should we demand that the rest of Congress strain to hear the voices?

If he suffered from multiple personality disorder, does every dissociated persona get an individual vote?

If he had an eating disorder, should they refer to him as "the fat arse from New Hampshire?"

This subjective assault on the English language must stop, and I think we have finally reached a point as a nation to where we will see the lions share of this nonsense dry up over the next 4 years

And it's not about this individual. I don't care about them personally or their feelings. I'm only concerned that this becomes a huge distraction in Congress and provides dems ammunition, which it will.

Maybe that's a good thing. This insanity needs to be put on display and dealt with sanely and logically. The culture is swinging back right and the trans insanity is quickly losing momentum.
Sure, it will always exist but will continue to pushed out to the fringes where it belongs.
