So the shooter did kinda go too far.

I had no idea we had rules of engagement when being robbed at gun point.

Was the full video released?

It certainly means nothing at all if the robber had a fake gun. If you rob a bank with a fake gun in your pocket you will be charged with aggrivated or armed robbery.

The same applies to those defending themselves against someone with a fake gun. I suspect the only thing they will get him on is leaving the scene afterwards. That was a bad move.

But even here in DFW I knew a guy that went out to his front yard to finde somebody cutting his CAT off his truck. He approached the criminal with his gun and the guy ran and jumped into his car parked on the street in front of his house. The homeowner jumped in front of the car to keep him from pulling away. The crook floored it so the homeowner shot through the front windshield and shot him through the side windo and killed him as he went by.
They arrested the homeowner and it went to grand jury. Fortunately the grand jury didnt' prosecute.

I had no idea he executed the guy after he already disarmed him. And then just drove away? Hope he gets some jail time and some jailhouse justice.

Have no remorse for the dead guy however, if the guy shot an incapacitated guy while holding his weapon. Yeah there’s gonna be some charges.

You are correct and the law should change.

That last shot was the only questionable one. It was likely an AD with the gun in a bad hold.

He is guilty of desecrating a corpse at worst.

The more I watch the video, the more I think it was an AD. Even seems to surprise him. 9 total shots

While I 100% believe this was a good shoot, I am worried they will weave a tale that his point blank back of head shot constitutes intent to kill vs intent to stop a threat.

Full Video

When you look at his criminal history I'd argue killing him is stopping a threat

He served 7 years in prison for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and not long after he is out of prison he gets thrown back in jail for assaulting his common law wife then gets bonded out

This guy was going to be a repeat criminal no matter what

And she is absolutely terrible. Harris County is managed by a corrupt junior high student council.

You're kind of opening yourself up for some nasty karma there, groomer.

Don't expect too much sympathy if/when one of these idiot thugs drops a knot on your head.

If the assailant was still moving, that last shot is not questionable.

Weird thing is if it were a cop, I don’t think we have an issue.

I hope you're not a licensed attorney.

That presumption is easily blown to shite with the last shot to the dome.

That pharmacist in Oklahoma got life in prison for killing one of his robbers.
