I can't imagine being a police officer in any of these areas. Police have a hard enough time with adequate political support. Pull that support and there is no incentive at all for police to actually do their job.

They need to stop fricking around and defund the police in these shitholes.

I want to see a real time disaster in a lab setting.

Portland has really missed out on a golden economic windfall. They should have made the city into a reality show. As the sand through the hourglass so are the nights of our riots.

If they had some authority that demanded their respect, and a little fear, to enforce the law, the situation would improve.
