The MSM will do their best to bury this, but Trump will feast on it if Mini Mike is the nominee.

quote:

Bloomberg on why farmers can’t work in information technology

MB: “I can teach anyone how to be a farmer 1 dig a hole 2 put a seed in 3 put dirt on top 4 add water 5 up comes the corn”

The skill 4information technology is completely different you need more gray matter

That's the kind of appeal to middle America that this party needs!

The people that feed you aren't really all that important if you think about it.

What is even more remarkable is the arrogance of someone who has rarely left urban pavement saying “I can teach anyone how to be a farmer."

OMG that was nearly 3.5 years ago. What are you going to drag up next, his kindergarten yearbook from 1945?

Does he understand a lot of farmers use gps machine control?

They dug up anything on Trump going as far back as the 1980’s. It is fair game to treat Bloomberg the same way.

He also says in the viedo that there's no analytics involved in farming.

Sure Mini Mike, soil analysis, market timing, crop rotation, cover crops in the off season, pesticides... none of that enters into farming

Devil's advocate...

I listened to it..

Is he wrong?

I think his point is:

Farmers don't go to college to learn how to farm, they go to work and learn from other farmers...the process to grow and harvest food is fairly straightforward. Frankly the lord does a lot of the providing...

To make it in the Technology advance world you can't skip class...and you can't get a job and learn on the job..

You have to have a highly trained and skilled mind to "provide"

A lot of farmers go to college. That's why they have ag schools.

To make it on the farm you can't sleep in and mash your nuts either.

How is:

quote:

Farmers don't go to college to learn how to farm

different from:

quote:

they go to work and learn from other farmers

I get that you're playing devils advocate, but I'd wager that if you swapped everyone in the tech sector with every farmer, you would have complete failure from both groups. Neither is a simple task.

Really? And what about Zimbabwe? You remember that disaster right? The one where they kicked all of the white farmers out and then nearly starved to death because no one knew how to farm..

Here’s an article where they began begging the farmers they ran off to come back because their stupidity fricked their country in the arse with no lube. LINK

This isn't even remotely true.

quote:

I'd wager you learn more on the job in IT than you do in schools. I could be wrong though, and someone in that sector can correct me.

You have to have a highly trained and skilled mind to "provide"

The notion that farming isn't highly skilled, specialized work is idiotic.

Who knows maybe he's like Oliver Wendell Douglas, and has a farm on his penthouse balcony.

explain why the world went from 98% agricultural to 2 % then...

Explain why college is now considered a "must" by most people to succeed.

that's not a 100% true but you get the point.

What a combination of arrogance and ignorance Bloomberg has regarding our nation’s farmers.

He won’t receive a warm reception at the Farm Bureau.

Trump received a great reception from the Farm Bureau. I encourage everyone to watch his address to the convention. They love him.

You are not to bright if you are running for public office and have a history of degrading blacks, women, the elderly, farmers, machinists, gun owners, and those who like large soft drinks and salt. This elitist POS can spend all the money he has, but the more people hear the less they will like him.
