Seems as if that's wishful thinking. It would depend greatly on how the regime change took place. If it's a full on invasion with mass destruction there is no reason to rush back. I don't think that will be our play here but I also don't think it's realistic to expect political stability that would be required for people to return in any short time frame

Trump has proven over and over that he respects lives and does not like to see any lives lost in unnecessary wars. He has stated this many times as POTUS.
If Trump is ordering these strikes on the narco boats, then I think he knows exactly what those boats are doing, based on his statements against lives lost unnecessarily. If Trump goes into Venezuela for regime change, I believe he sees this as an opportunity gifted to him as a lame duck term to finally make real change that will impact not just the US but all S American countries and their citizens.

Nobody is saying it is being MADE in Venezuela. People ARE saying that Chinese made fentanyl (which it has been documented that they are mass manufacturing) is being TRAFFICKED by Venezuelan gangs and brought into the US

Sadaam did have wmds. People think of wmds as nukes. Sadaam had chemical bombs. How do you think Syria got them. The UN inspectors for months told the UN that Sadaam was moving them by trucks to Syria.

Just to be clear: Chemical weapons were NOT the WMD’s that convinced Americans at the time that it was appropriate support the Iraq War.
It was the fearmongering about NUCLEAR weapons…which was all bullshite lies.
Americans were never going to support sending their boys to potentially die for chemical, which is why they fabricated those lies

Any links to support those claims. Maduro is actively trying to work with USA to bring back illegals, trade agreements for Venezuela resources, and wants to avoid war.
Little Marco is in Trump's ear and has convinced him that they are running drugs but the reporting I have seen says that is not accurate. It's a hawkish move from Rubio and if he succeeds with getting his wish on ven he won't be satisfied l...he will just move on to Cuba.
