We would have never been able to send them back during Covid

Trump's decision to give stop the deportation of 200,000 Venezuelans and let them work in the U.S. had zero to do with covid.

His words

“The deteriorative condition within Venezuela, which presents an ongoing national security threat to the safety and well-being of the American people, warrants the deferral of the removal of Venezuelan nationals who are present in the United States,”

It was supported by several top Republicans, like Rubio, and his kids.

Because the Manduro administration is running drugs and a Chinese proxy. There are millions of Venezuelan’s in the United States that would return if he was removed.

Also Maduro was voted out of office and refuses to hand over power

Venezuelans are being denied the government they voted for

If this were a legit reason, we would do the same to Romania.

Its not a legit reason to change anyone elses regime.

Drugs arent coming here through Venezuela, they are coming through Mexico.

Why don't we start in Mexico then? Are we droning drug production facilities or cartel headquarters in Mexico? Are we gonna take out the cartel approved president?

He can attack the boats in international waters. Mexico is not transporting the drugs over international water. The second the US government authorizes a land strike, regardless of the reason behind it; they are initiating a war on that country.

So, I should base my opinions on what Graham says? I shouldn't think for myself? If Graham is for it, then I should automatically be against it?

It's a mindless approach, but it's the best some can do.

When it comes to foreign policy?

Absolutely.

I often applied the same maxim to John McCain and never once did this strategy fail me.

We know for a fact Saddam had WMDs. The West — including Britain, France and the United States — helped Iraq source the technology needed to produce WMDs throughout the 1980s during the Iran/Iraq War:

Britain's dirty secret...

CONFRONTATION IN THE GULF: French Reportedly Sent Iraq Chemical War Tools…

Yet — contrary to the claims of the Bush Administration — what Saddam did not have in 2003 was an active chemical weapons program. The much ballyhooed store of WMDs found during the Iraq War were deteriorating old stock leftover from the Iran/Iraq War:

U.S. troops found nearly 5,000 abandoned chemical weapons in Iraq from 2004 to 2011…

On at least six occasions, American troops and American-trained Iraqi troops were wounded by the abandoned munitions, but news of the encounters was neither shared publicly nor widely circulated among the troops, the victims told the Times. Others said they were told to be vague or deceptive about what they found.

"'Nothing of significance’ is what I was ordered to say,” Jarrod Lampier, a retired Army major, said of the 2006 discovery of 2,400 nerve-agent rockets at a former Republican Guard compound, the largest chemical weapons discovery of the war.

Among the reasons for the secrecy? The discovery of pre-Gulf War chemical weapons — most of them "filthy, rusty or corroded" — did not fit the narrative.

BECAUSE IT'S NOT ABOUT THE DRUGS. IT'S ABOUT REGIME CHANGE.

We just need to give Maduro's opposition enough confidence that we will have their backs for them to make their move in taking him out. Even the Nobel Prize Winner spoke out against Maduro.

Let’s take out the trash in Venezuela this winter, then Cuba in the spring and Mexico this summer. They all have it coming.
