Man, I thought this was going to be a video about someone who died in the ER or something and went to Hell and then was brought back. Just a sermon. Big let down.

You're right. That would have been more entertaining.

To be fair, the OP did not appear to be "judging" anyone. I believe he is sincere and wishes that my "eternal soul" is "saved" and that I get to Heaven. I do not think he was condemning me to Hell. Only that he believes that my LACK of "belief" inevitably leads me there.

I think he loves me. I appreciate that. I disagree with his point here. But, we needn't be disagreeable.

The only people who go to hell are those who cannot pay for their sins. Father Guido Sarducci has spoken extensively about this.
While on earth there is a box in heaven and every day some money is put in it when you are good. When you die they give you your box and it's time to pay for your sins.
Murder? Could be as high as $10,000. Masturbation? Oh, maybe 50 cents. It's a cheap sin.

The only thing dumber than getting my religious advice from YouTube is getting my religious advice from a guy who got his religious advice from YouTube.

Oh the religious dogma game. I want to play too.

If you don't meet _insert religion here_'s requirements then you will experience an eternity of suffering. _insert religion here_'s god loves you but if you don't choose correctly you will experience an eternity of suffering! My religion's savior sacrificed himself and is the cure for an ailment that you were magically born into and cannot overcome without meeting _insert religion here_'s specific requirements. If you want proof then read _insert religion here_'s sacred text!

Think about what causes you to sin, then think about the devil not existing, then tell me how life would be any different.

You get hungry, you get horny, you get greedy. All of these are a consequence of flesh and have no need of an outside influence.

Then you are just ignorant. No serious scholar puts any weight into the 'Jesus myth theory.' It has been totally rejected by all credible historians.

Two events of Jesus's life, the baptism and crucifixion, have universal assent among historians, meaning all who study the historicity of Jesus accept these evens as historical.

Have you ever read what the Bible says?

Catholics have been done a disservice Jesus said in John 3:16 we all know this verse but in John 3:17 it says if you don't believe in Jesus your are condemned already.
The wrath of God is being pored out in this life and the next for unbelievers and hell is described by Jesus the wicked have no sleep day or night and there is weeping and gnashing of teeth! Like if somebody slams your hand with a hammer gnashing it want be pleasant for those who reject Gods Son. Weeping because you are separated from a Loving Happy Perfect God whom you rejected time and again for the temporary pleasure of sin. This life is the closest sinners will get to Heaven and the closest Saints will get to Hell. After this life we are separated forever. The reason Hell never ends is because the offended party never dies its actually insufficient for the crimes committed there-fore it never ends. Your view of God is to small if the Bible is the truth God is an eternal being that does nothing wrong ever and is more valuable than the Universe and when you slight him by choosing anything above him you say that this is more valuable than God and we as fallen creatures do it everyday all day. Your account to God is so big you could never repay it. But God gave up being God humbled himself wrapped himself in Humanity to fulfill the law you could not to give you God! God is the gospel the reward is not Heaven but God himself that's what you lost that's why the hole in your soul is so big only God can satisfy you.

This might be true.

Not so much this. The "contemporaneous" accounts were decades after his supposed crucifixion.

Historians also told us a few hundred thousand Native Americans scattered across NA and SA hunted Wooly Mammoths to extinction. Which happens to be patently false.

Point is, history is what people want it to be, not what actually happened. You must leave the door open to "being wrong" to be intellectually honest.

Not saying Jesus was a myth, but I'm open to the possibility if proven otherwise.
