As well they should. They are the ones the government screwed over the worst. The financial incentive to not have the father in the house, then not on the birth certificate. Destroyed nuclear families. Left young men growing up not seeing what a father does so when they have kids they struggle. Single mom were the ones that were catered to and took on the roll of both parents.
Government makes most things worse when they treat everyone’s needs the same.

True, in many instances. Albeit one "can tell a tree by the fruit that it bears". The "marginalized and persecuted" should not get a pass on morality, lest they go down.
And given that "the poor will be with you ALWAYS", Marxists decry that as morally unacceptable and play the Egalitarian (economic) Race card. And boom goes off in the cultural/psychological dog fight.
Genes matter, in relation to particular abilities and talents. Look no further that Professional Sports to prove that. The ability to discipline oneself into sitting in a cubicle and focusing on some intangible 'work' or flipping burgers for the sake of success is not a strong set in some genetic scenarios but is what it takes to prosper in today's competitive economic culture. And there will be no potential for the 'gold chain' around the neck for that.
Marxist Egalitarian ideology/strategy has been well played by the Left on those who are relatively feeling-motivated, impulsive, simple minded and genetically 'Tribalist' as opposed to independent inclined. Think 'limited government' and the Constitutional Republic. Khruschev's "we'll take you without firing a shot" statement was not ill-conceived or baseless, but relied on the natural instincts of those at the bottom of the economic pyramid. Albeit some of the smartest people in the World embrace Egalitarian ideology, Elitist Transnational Progressives at the fore. And not without legitimate concern as the coming extraordinarily powerful High Tech will render traditional warfare as Species suicidal.

If you have a sibling that just keeps doing the wrong thing over and over and over no matter how much you help them. They crashed the car you lent them to get to work, spent a loan you gave them to get a suit to interview for jobs on a night out with friends. They treat the family like shite, talk shite about you to others and only call you when they need something....eventually you throw up your hands and say "fine, do what you want, I never want to see you again"

The biggest mosquitos I've ever seen were around Niagara Falls. I'm used to tornadoes and heat and would suffer through humidity.

I was thinking about this exact thing yesterday. I’ve concluded that Black people have not been immersed in Western culture where everything has been happening for the last thousand years or so.
So they were basically thrust into a world they were not directly familiar with after the Civil War.
And many have. I know far more good, productive black men my age than not, but their upcoming generations are going backwards in regard to accountability, violence, contributions, etc., and have been. Women will always fall on the side of favoring the state, but black women have the state so far entrenched as their husband that they will never leave the hand that feeds them. There's no hope unless/until black men get back in the homes and start leading their community instead of their women. The only way to encourage this is for the state to start punishing single motherhood and rewarding nuclear families, but strong nuclear families is an enemy to a strong police state.

I hope he’s right. I know he’s right about the causes; I just hope he’s right about support being removed, because that is the only way this will be fixed. When the “poor” have the social safety net reduced to an unattractive lifestyle they will begin to work; they will begin to form social structures that enforce taboos. And that will lead them back into society, away from the current pathos.
