I’m guessing it was the plagiarism that got her as opposed to the stances she took.

If Harvard wanted to retain what shreds of academic integrity it had left, this had to happen.

That or they finally found some dirt compelling enough to get her to resign.

I wonder who is behind those things coming to light all of a sudden. I didn't read the thread on it.

Actually, I had just opened that stout thread to read it when his came across my screen. Was weird timing.

There was a blistering op ed by a Harvard student in the school newspaper that detailed how many students have been suspended or expelled for exactly what the president has done. The writer is a member of the honor council that hands out the rulings.

The writer also went into detail how most faculty members not only defended what the president did but applauded her blatant plagiarism, academic fraud, and dishonesty. It also mentioned how the president committed her plagiarism repeatedly over many years in many writings, a pattern that would have resulted in the harshest penalty from the honor council: expulsion.

Finally, the writer stated he/she was remaining anonymous because he/she would be targeted for reprisal by faculty members who support the president.

It has gotten a lot of attention, including on X.
