Hamas & PIJ were the ones killing people in food lines then stealing the food. It's gotten better lately, but they know if they control the food they can control the people and make money.

your concern is noted -

BUT - there is an existential war going on for Israel - and hopefully for HAMA. - one of them has to cease to exist.

Israel deserves to survive - and they don't need to sacrifice 100s more of their military to avoid the civilians HAMAS puts between them and their own forces.

We killed a LOT of 'innocent' civilians in WWII - and that was a terrible thing - so is having a leg amputated so you can survive.

For example, in the Ukraine war Putin is not indiscriminately killing and taking Ukrainian women and children. He is just killing their military.

Around 14,000 Ukraine civilians have died in the war.

Regarding Hamas, they are fighting more in urban landscape, and using more terroristic techniques, so the casualty counts will be different.

The term "rape and pillage" wasn't created in a vacuum. It's what has happened in war for centuries.

As noted philosopher Axl Rose said "there's nothing civil about war"

Translation: Israel is smoking them out in Gaza city and they need a ceasefire or they’re toast.

The issue is the people caught in the crossfire between Hamas and the IDF.

You mean the people that voted to have Hamas as their lawfully elected government?

To be absolutely fair... Gaza doesn't get a vote anymore.

quote:

Hamas announced its intention to once again boycott local elections and has repeatedly prevented free, local elections since it first took power of Gaza in 2004.[14]

Governance of the Gaza Strip Following the Fatah–Hamas conflict that started in 2006, Hamas formed a government ruling the Gaza Strip without elections. Gazan Prime Minister Haniyye announced in September 2012 the formation of a second Hamas government, also without elections.

Which hostages?

Are there American hostages in any way and are they the hostages being discussed?

If so, then frick them, sent in a S.F. unit to go get them and be done with this.

If it's Israeli hostages then frick THEM. I'm so sick of Israel being our fricking puppet master.

Would you feel this way if one of your family was still a hostage?

Would you not if your family member was going to be in the unlucky half?

See how that works?
