Another problem is allowing people to dismiss others without facts.

You mean lawsuits?

It's all the same stuff. They've yet to show their work. Like the same lawyers who led the suits that got dismissed prior to "being able to show evidence" got suspended because they didn't provide the evidence to the bar, either.

What are they waiting for? They have had 4 years to release it publicly and wouldn't even do it when their law licenses were under attack.

In Louisiana, threatening to file a bar complaint is unethical (but I doubt any of the lawyers who commented are licensed here).

Like they give a damn about ethics.

If they did, they wouldn't be threatening people in the first place, and of course here you come riding in on your white horse...

Give me a break. A 70 yo woman is in jail for 7yrs for thinking she had the authority to have post election machines audited by a 3rd party. Did she go about it the right way? Who knows, since I'm thinking there was no official process in place. Just like the rest of the nation that there is a 2-3 moth process to truly find a way to audit. And of course now you people push to extend out elections for weeks so that audit window is even smaller.

Hell, they call you and snail mail you in FL. Traffic reports are public records. They call, I see you were in an accident. Do you need assistance recovering damages? I simply respond GFY yourself. If I wanted a lawyer, it wouldn't be some a-hole cold calling accident victims.

John Eastman turned real evil in 2020

Poor Jenna fell for his BS

quote:

Even after Jan. 6, Eastman was still talking about the 2020 election not yet being certain.

Former White House lawyer Eric Herschmann told investigators that the day after the insurrection, Eastman raised the issue of disputed votes in Georgia, and Hershmann recalled what he told Eastman in their phone call.

"I don't want to hear any other f-ing words coming out of your mouth other than 'orderly transition.' Repeat those words to me. And eventually, he said 'orderly transition.' I said, 'Good, John,'" Herschmann said in his recorded testimony played Thursday.

Hershmann said he then told Eastman to get a "great f****** criminal defense lawyer. You're going to need it."

It's crazy what hopium + groupthink makes intelligent people believe.

That is a very euphemistic way to describe the facts of an irrelevant scenario to what I posted.

Where did I say any such thing?

The laws to challenge elections in these states are pretty set and longstanding.

Hey Slo, serious question. Do you always correct these post because you are anti-MAGA? Or do you comment on all post dealing with law? In other words are you just sticking it to Trumpers because you don’t like him? I wonder do you see any uneven “justice” aimed at him as well as mainstream news coverage, or is it every non-lefties imagination .

You are a leftie lawyer dude. Like it or not. Agree with it our not, that is your reputation, so yeah you get lumped in.

And no need for the BS on laws being established, especially when talking about the 2020 election that had numerous election law changes prior to it, so if laws/rules didn't matter prior then you can't all of a sudden fall back on your heels on post election laws being set.

I do not comment on literally any post/thread involving a legal topic, no.

I don't really dislike Trump. I'm not a full fan of his political platform.

My aim isn't really at Trump directly, though, more the culture of insanity that exploded in 2019 among his supporters. It's really killed this board.

I'm trying to make the Poli Board Great Again, if you will.

Lots of the MAGA-centric posters are responding with "We're not going back"

This has nothing to do with the conversation/discussion.

No lawyer was punished for pointing this fact out.

Because you know damn well they are talking only about lawyers who are in maga sphere.

They would just ignore it from anyone else.

There will need to be a replacement for the AMA and the bar association moving foreword along with other certification organizations who have been wholly captured and weaponized along political lines.

Between that and DEI the private sector is being made non-viable for anyone who doesn’t play ball with the establishment.

Where did I attack the people who filed bar complaints against Fani/Wade?

Or that the prosecution against Jason Williams and his law partner was wrong/political? I posted I thought the jury's decision against JW was pretty absurd.

See how much the Leftists care about rights? One of the founding principles is that everyone deserves a competent defense. Yet.. the Left thinks only select people deserve those basic rights. Who is the real threat?

Say, like retrying a case, which was already passed statute of limitations , while upgrading it from a misdemeanor to a felony?

Or bringing frivolous lawsuits that have no basis in law or fact?

That's dubious at best. It's still people trying to control the flow of information. Who gets to decide what is legally baseless? There are legally baseless suits filed every day.
