They are protesting Tennessee's new anti -drag show law which says that they can't perform in front of children. Anyone who thinks it is ok to take a child to a drag show is a sick pedo groomer.

When you are a "progressive" there ALWAYS has to be "progress" simply for the sake of progress...not matter how irrational and illogical that "progress" may be. That's what many don't understand. There is no end...because there can't be. Their entire self-identity is wrapped up in the struggle for progress. Not actual results. That's why those now advocating for "transgender rights" (something that was universally seen as ridiculously illogical just 13 years ago) could get every "right" they are crusading for tomorrow and STILL be unhappy. The goal is always having some sort of "social justice" crusade. Not actually achieving any results.

Just 10 years ago (maybe less) even drag queens would tell you their shows were no place for children. They were NEVER meant for society at large. Drag-queen shows were ALWAYS adult/deviant themed performance is gay night clubs...until recently...when a small, but vocal segment of society decided "transgenderism" was their cause du juor. That means they have to force their beliefs on society by any means possible...no matter how much society didn't ask for it and doesn't want it.

It would really be no different than if there was a push to bring heterosexual strippers and burlesque shows to children's hour at the local library.

The sheriff of Davidson County should have arrested the whole lot and charged them with crimes against Nature and public obscenity (appearing as a Clown without a license?).

Remember what happened to Jim Morrison In Miami during a concert in March 1969...

Food for thought...if they felt they were "good guys" they wouldn't be parading themselves around in dresses and make-up.

Absolute shame seeing Isbell on that stage. Phenomenal songwriter but this is so far out there, even for him.

I'm embarrassed for Jason

Not just because he's lefty/dem, plenty of good musicians are that. He's running so hard from where he comes from and trying to be so different that he's become a mindless drone.

In his mind, I genuinely think he believes he's rebelling against the suffocating right wing views of his home state.

So in response, he's speaking truth to power by endorsing views held by every college, media outlet, government institution, bank, major corporation, entertainer, etc. It's just a pathetic lack of self-awareness.
