Who in American history could have been a really good President but never even got their party's nomination?

President is just a figure head. Trump is the first one close to actually making decisions in decades.

That’s why they shoot bullets at him

We saw how shite a candidate he really was with his VP pick and then the drama he pulled about 41 messing with his daughter's wedding.

You have to be rich, or know people with cash to even think about winning!

Now, local and blue city elections are easy to win, IF, you are a socialist/commie democrat!

The US voting base is awful in our largest cities....and it is a big problem.

Alan Keyes should have been our first black president.

given what we now know about the Bushes, the deep state and their dirty tricks, do you still doubt that there was a concerted effort to intimidate Perot to drop out of the race?

While he did get the nomination but didn’t win, Barry Goldwater would have been an excellent president

Blows my mind Americans picked that POS LBJ over him in a landslide. Had Barry won, there’s no Great Society welfare state passed. LBJ did irreparable harm to this country

Ron Paul gets an honorable mention because I like his views but not sure how he would have fared as president. He likely would have accomplished little because he was an ideological purist along with having very little political clout in DC.

Two things can be true. Some of us remember his debate performance.

Who am I and why am I here will go down a the worst first look at a VP candidate until Timmy Walz and his jazz hands routine.

Terrible prep and a failure to meet the moment.

Welp, now I know for sure.

Perot is the correct answer.
