Winter wheat is harvested in June by combines. It is called winter wheat because it requires vernalization. It is planted in October in most states.

Oranges come from either Florida or California- those picking oranges in Florida are here on a temporary limited work visa - many have stayed as illegals / asylum seekers when the season ends and that's an issue but the Florida crop pickers - strawberries now are here legally for the most part but as trump said " they have to go back ".
