Won’t be in the senate next year

Crazy

Susan Collins might be the most senior GOP senator soon if Grassley leaves

“They” does not mean the DNC. The DNC hated Platner from day 1

Susan Collins votes to the left of most republicans and to the right OF ALL democrats.

She is threading the needle in a very blue state, you certainly would not like her replaced.

Murkowski on the other hand is just a POS.

The DNC is not the rank and file. They also did nothing about him.

Thune is not likely to hold his seat in 2 years either. He better start writing his book called “Protecting Democracy”

Really?

Maine has to be one of the cheapest cost wise Senate seats in the country. The Dems couldn't throw their weight behind any other candidate?

Do you think that the party was finding out about Platner in the same timefame that the public was?

They threw their weight behind the 78 year old sitting Governor and it didn’t work. Platner was the Sanders pick and no Bernie is not a member of the DNC

You leftist are naive. Your party is being taken over by communist radicals and you’re pissing in the wind and telling us it’s raining

I mean part of it speaks to a generation of senators who stayed well past when they should’ve and now age is doing what primaries should’ve done long ago.

You also have to factor in the hold Trump has over primaries at the moment which obviously pushed some of them out.

But no one knows what a post Trump GOP will look like so it’s interesting and an opportunity for improvement that they’re turning over before he leaves office.
