We're talking about public schools, not private ones. You can't tell kids to "leave" public school if they don't want to participate in prayer. Separation of church and state and whatnot.

Students should have the right to pray in public school if they so choose. But it should be on their own accord, not forced or even over the school intercom.

Yep, and they don’t mind jamming their values, immortality, and beliefs down your throat as the authoritative way to view the world, and yours is steeped in nonsense reserved for ignorant, uneducated and low IQ people, and that’s how it works on people. People desperately don’t want anyone thinking they aren’t brilliant and well educated (indoctrinated) and so they conform quite easily, even if there’s an accent in your speech. People will get rid of that too. Just accept me as your equal. I’ll do anything to be accepted. Before you know it you are no longer an individual, but rather part of a greater collective…. “Welcome To The Machine”

So, what happened to seperation of chuch and State....what about the other religions who are a legitimate part of the classroom, and whose parents are tax paying American citizens, just like the Christian kids parents...I am conservative, but this is a bridge too far, and Landry knows it .

I love this! If one child can be saved from a message of morality, information that is not available at home, it’s a WIN!

Yep. This is a huge win for the state of Louisiana.

Even better, it has the libs melting down. Cry more libtards, this country was founded on Christianity and we will not let you forget that.

Please cite the specific founding documents referencing Jesus. Thanks.

Will this measure lower the high crime rate in the state?

Thomas Jefferson (Wrote the Declaration of Independence) and James Madison (Father of the Constitution) would both disagree with you.

I like the idea, it'll never pass the muster. How about allowing prayer back in school? That would have been the way to go.

There are so many things that could very well help the state I guess it's a start.

Are you being serious? Or trying to be ironic? Look no farther then the dollars in your pocket, “in god we trust”! I’d encourage you to reread the constitution and the federalist papers, ya know, the supporting documents for which the US constitution was imposed. More important, grow the frick up!

Every Louisianian with an IQ in triple digits should be embarrassed. The governor is a clown and the legislature is a collection of morons.
No one who claims to be a "true American" can so blatantly ignore the bedrock constitutional mandate that government may not endorse a religion. A stunt is one thing. An act which is patently illegal is quite another.

It never ceases to amaze me, how secular people refuse to recognize the correlation between the abandonment of Christian culture/values/behavior, and the resulting cesspool of immorality that this country has become. I don’t believe, for one second, that they don’t see it. I believe that they are just selfish and naive enough to ignore it- thinking that, somehow, they alone can fit a square peg into a round hole. Pride and ignorance go hand in hand.

Romans 1:28 (NASB95): 28 ?And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,

That’s where we’re at. This country is now composed of a majority of people who do not acknowledge God. This is the result- a majority of debased minds, complaining about literally the only thing that can improve their circumstances.

I don't remember who, but someone tweeted that they would sue the state for this.

No problem with the LGBTQ freaks doing their perverted bull shite in schools, but the Ten Commandments on walls is where they draw the line.

The downvoters need to go to therapy immediately.

It’s so funny to me.

Look at how we are being downvoted for faith. These same progs who downvote us, while they support every other religion but Christianity! They support religion from third world countries. How has that worked out? Look at the most successful, “first world” country’s on earth, it’s a common theme, it’s rooted into the 10 commandments. Spoiler; all Christian nations!.

But to see this, they would have to lose their ego, have humility, and accept there is is power greater then themselves.

Without morality, there is no civilization, it’ll be nomadic hoards and tribes. For the less astute, it’s happening before your very eyes. But whatever, I’ll speak my mind and conduct my own business. Good luck!
