I've always felt that a person (or, I guess, a country) should call himself, herself or itself whatever they prefer and also use their own preferred pronunciation. Thus Ceylon becomes Sri Lanka, Burma becomes Myanmar, and so on.

Nevertheless, I'm still working on remembering the new spelling.

More importantly, even if Trump had committed the acts people have imagined him committing, would it shake the base of his support? He could shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue, NYC at noon and he still would not lose his base. The whole Epstein thing is, at base, a non-issue.
