You're telling me they found a way to shove more kelce brother shite down our throats at the Masters?
Thank you. I will probably watch none/less for this reason.
Can we please go back to the Arnie/Jack years when golf wasn't such a mainstream spectacle? I'm about over the "nike presents golf as a fashion show" years.

How many prestigious golf courses does President Trump own? Enough that Augusta doesn't matter at all. And pimento cheese sandwiches suck.

What a dumb thing to say.

I think being President, twice, tops being a member of Augusta
Made me think of the Eisenhower tree.
quote:
The most powerful forces on earth have not been able to dissuade Augusta National’s leadership at times. In 1956, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, a club member, rose to address a meeting of Augusta National’s board of governors.
Cliff Roberts when he was chairman of the Augusta National Golf Club.
Eisenhower demanded that the club cut down a 65-foot loblolly pine tree on the left of the 17th hole that he found particularly vexing to his game. Cliff Roberts, the longtime domineering club chairman, stood up and declared Eisenhower out of order.
“Meeting adjourned,’’ Roberts announced and walked out of the room. The tree, like many other things unchanged at Augusta National, is still alongside the 17th hole.
It was until the 2014 ice storm.

The bigger question is why this even matters.
There’s no talk of Trump joining by anyone.
This is clickbait to get people talking and engaging. Algorithm drivel to get people arguing so they’ll feed ad revenues.

Cliff Roberts killed himself with a gunshot to the head at Ike's Pond on Augusta National grounds.

Is Harmon even a member of Augusta National? I don’t think so…which makes this even more ridiculous.

Let me see, golf instructor vs world renown golf course builder/owner. Hmmmm…

Butch is a great golf coach, but I wouldn't have pegged him as a deranged leftist. Sad day for golf.
There are conservatives that have late stages TDS, too. I have a 92 year old uncle that fits that description ; golf is his passion, too. Go figure.

Deranged leftist? Did he say anything that wasn't actually true?
Or are we now in a time where anyone who says anything about Trump that less than a glowing, superfluous compliment is a deranged leftist?
Seems to me is that all he was saying is that "Yeah, Trump is the President, but his personality wouldn't exactly fit in at Augusta." Which... it really wouldn't. I mean... they banned a broadcaster for life for simply saying the greens were so fast they look like they'd been bikini waxed instead of mowed.

President Trump would be the perfect cast for Rodney's role in Caddy Shack if they did a remake of the movie.

Can someone explain why Butch felt compelled to make this comment? Did Trump apply for membership? My guess is if Trump wanted to be a member of Augusta he would have done that years ago if there was a path
I always felt Butch was self promoting and full of himself, so his reasoning is self owning really, and he should lose his membership at Augusta for that reason alone

I think Trump can struggle on, grimly persevering at the GLOBAL CHAIN OF HIGH END COURSES THAT HE OWNS HIMSELF.

Has Trump asked to be a member?
Probably be a step down for him! HA!

Pretty sure you don’t “apply” to be a member to AGNC.
