Per Ben Shapiro
quote:
Two ramifications of the Giuliani statement: (1) Cohen is not guilty of a campaign finance violation, since Trump is allowed to spend without limit on himself; (2) If Trump didn’t report the spending, that could be a campaign finance violation.

Ben needs to consider the 3rd option.

If we had an AG with balls, lying jim would be headed for a tall tree and a short rope for the crimes he’s committed.

This is what I absolutely hate about Hannity's interview style. He can't shut the frick up and let his guest talk. He constantly asks questions and cuts off guest answers to ask another question. He started with a question about Cohen, in the middle of Rudy's answer he starts asking a question about Hillary funneling money through a law firm. So then Rudy starts giving the answers to two different questions at once. See the quote above.. Then Hannity just hamfisted as ever just keep on asking questions. It was so bad that they had to clarify it as the interview ended it.

You guys are doing a disservice to this country focusing on shite like this instead of policies that can improve the lives of americans and make them vote for you. Every single night it is something new for you people. EVERY NIGHT. I am tired of it. I am tired of the "booms" and the "whoa's" and the "he's done". I am tired of turning on the news every night and seeing them act like the apocalypse is happening.

What a melt. Cheer up and learn to laugh at all the lies and bullshite coming out of this administration. Defending trump all the time has to be such a miserable existence. No wonder you’re tired of it

I am tired of you guys running around with your hair on fire thinking the country is doomed or that trump will be indicted any day now.

Why not just sit back and be a third party observer and let things pan out before making judgements?

This is damned pathetic. Can't "billionaire" Donald Trump find some spokesman/lawyer who is competent? Rudy was competent...25 years ago. I think he was drinking heavily before that Hannity interview. Even Sean was surprised about the $130K revelation.

Defend? You mean state the obvious.

The few liberals and progressives in this thread have been asked where the "got him" is...... and crickets.

You would think it would be easy to put into words.

dude, POTUS stated emphatically he did not know anything about the $130K payment Cohen made to our Baton Rouge girl. Rudy said he did know about it because he repaid Cohen.

I will again ask you to explain, IF you can, the contradiction.

There is none. I'm waiting.

Rudy now telling WSJ Trump "probably was not aware" of payment when it was made. "Cohen was his lawyer and had discretion to settle, as I have had for clients ultimately paying for it."

Gotta wonder what Emmet Flood's thinking about getting involved with this bunch right now.

Dude, you're wrong. Very wrong.

Why was she paid off? What did she receive payment to do?

To keep her mouth shut about an affair with Donald Trump.

Why would Donald Trump, in October of 2016, want Stormy Daniels to keep her yap shut about them fricking?

Her yapping would've hurt his candidacy. Therefore, by the rule of law, it was an unreported campaign contribution.

Let’s stipulate that it’s a clear violation of campaign finance.

What’s the penalty?

Those statements aren't contradictory stupid.

example

Jan 1, 2016 Cohen pays the whore $130K to go away.

Jun 1, 2016 Cohen bills Trump for legal services, including a $130K charge or "legal fees" Trump asks for specifics, Cohen provides them.

YOu can EASILY see that that is an example where for 6 months Trump did NOT know about the payment, but then became aware of it. And that's how lawyers fricking work. Well, if you're a person who has any sort of credit where a lawyer would trust you for any money at all.

Especially when it's someone like Trump who because of the sheer number of lawsuits that may be involving him at any time wouldn't have enough time in the day to just sit there approving every single settlement as it happens day after day.

This isn't rocket science, if you are honest at all.
