I'm not sure of the specifics but it's likely a very minor penalty. The problem is, to many Americans, it's just one more unethical and illegal action taken by Trump.
These are the sorts of things that sway people's opinions on his credibility when he screams "No Collusion - Total Witch Hunt" on Twitter. I mean, obviously it won't sway any of y'all...you guys are all about Trump. But you're a minority in this country...those independents are who is important and this hurts Trump badly.

It's a civil fine obtained through an ADR process, unless you're Donald Trump.

Trump is at 50% approval rating, his support over the past 2 weeks has doubled with Black Americans. His support with 18-34 year olds has caused the dems to slip 9 points. In that 18-34 age bracket, white support has flipped. He is almost at 50% while the dems sit closer to 30%
Keep thinking that this non contradiction is a massive issue!

You're not too well schooled in politics it appears. Independents are going to vote with their pocketbooks being way more important while Trump is president as opposed to Trump and Stormy from 10 years ago.
