Maybe Cuba will invite the White Socialists, to join their heaven of the Caribbean.
All other Americans, all races who love freedom, can stay here and enjoy.

quote:The gangs of little kids begging for food in the streets, including outside my hotel's gate, was depressing.
this...spent 6 weeks in Equatorial Guinea and lived in the man camp on the plant grounds...its the same there...
I made the mistake the first afternoon I was there, a Sunday, to go for a walk to find some bottled drinking water to buy. There was a little crippled boy with a makeshift crutch made out of a tree limb sitting just outside the hotel gate begging and I gave him a dollar bill.
Before I could walk 3 steps away from him I was surrounded by a couple dozen kids, some as young as 3 or 4 years old, clamoring for me to give them money. "Please share, Mister!"
I finally gave up and just went back to my hotel. The hotel guards at the gate had to physically restrain the begging kids from entering the hotel grounds. As I walked back through the gate one of the guards looked at me and said, "It's best not to give any of them money."
It was heartbreaking.

Lol, these are the people who enslaved and sold the ancestors of black Americans in the first place. White Europeans were not running around enslaving Africans, these big slave markets already existed for almost a thousand years before the Atlantic save trade started, to feed the arab slave trade. Every tribe in West Africa enslaved and sold other Africans, in addition to keeping slaves of their own. Are they going to greet the blacks arriving from America with a reparations check?

so they want to move to a place where their ancestors sold them into slavery. are they going to demand their statues get torn down too?
just move to Libya. they're still selling blacks into slavery right now.

quote:That reminds me of a reply Muhammad Ali gave to a reporter when the Champ was in Zaire, aka, the Congo, for his "Rumble in the Jungle" heavyweight boxing championship fight against George Foreman. (Ali won by a knockout in the 8th round. Foreman went on to sell cooking grills.)
so they want to move to a place where their ancestors sold them into slavery.
During the press build up before the fight Ali was touring parts of Zaire. At one Q&A session one of the reporters asked Ali what were his thoughts about visiting for the first time the area where his ancestors came from.
Ali answered, "My thoughts are I am very happy that somebody put my great-great-great-great grand pappy on that boat."

Man, Kenya has some problems but what a magnificent land. It's the goddamed Somali kid napping terrorist on the border that's the main issue. I would Safari there in a minute but then we would be packing some heat in the bush.
Look African Americans have an open invitation to drop the American part of the act and go home. I'm sure they will take advantage of it.

When the various state run colonies were set up in what's now Liberia, the former slaves from America almost immediately ran into problems with the natives. The former slaves wanted to put a stop to the slave trade. The natives wanted none of that as it had been part of their economic system for ages. There was fighting and the natives probably would have killed them all had not the British intervened. Most of the problems in Liberia today still reflect the antagonism between the former slaves and natives.
