I’ve always been on the “born that way” side. I grew up with a couple kids that had it written all over them by the time we were 7. It 100% influenced me to think “well, nobody would just act like a girl”. Then I read stuff about what you say and I’m like “no shite? Well dam”. So when a kid is obviously gay at 7 years old(dad is a regular dude. Has 2 brothers that are baws), what do you attribute it to? Cause it wasn’t taught or learned? Genuinely curious

Who cares? When people pose a question like this, they are simply revealing how they feel deep down about gay people. If having gay parents influenced him to wanting to be in a gay relationship, that’s not a bad thing. Let people live their lives.

You’re comparing the complexities of human sexuality to simple physical characteristics and the relatively few heritable conditions that are completely described? That shows how little you actually know about genetics. You’d likely be shocked to learn that the etiologies of many traits and conditions are multifactorial and require genetic and environmental influences, but are still by no means a conscious choice by the individual. What genes encode for a heterosexual male’s enjoyment of anal, for instance?

I have seen a vast amount of that in the lesbian world. Known a few two mom households were the daughters were dating girls by 13-14 years old.
