Even if he didn’t specifically mean black people (Trump wouldn’t get the benefit of the doubt. Why should he?), saying you are too stupid to read a speech is one of the most jaw-dropping things I’ve ever heard a politician say.

You have to understand he is appealing to a community that believes in keeping it real. And too much education(unless you are a gatekeeper), obeying the law and being on time is seem as acting white. They reveal in dumb shite like this.

Who else would he be referring to? He’s trying to pander to largely black audience and a black host. It’s not nuanced or open to an alternative explanation. He addressed everyone saying I’m just like you and followed it up with he’s illiterate and not very bright.

He was essentially forced into saying this shite by Ted Cruz.
The other day Cruz called him historically illiterate because he showed a poor grasp of history. His retort to Cruz was claiming Cruz was making fun of his learning disability that nobody frickin knew about. He tried to say Cruz was making fun of his dyslexia, which I doubt he even has.
But essentially he did prove that he is indeed very stupid by not understanding what Cruz had even said.
