Damn this hurt to read. I'm all for teaching libs the lesson they need, but I'm also wrapped very rightly around my daughter's finger and I can't imagine this. I'm very sorry to hear it. Teach her as fathers do, but don't give up on her.

I agree with those telling you to help her. But I don’t think that help should come regardless of her behavior, which has been reprehensible to this point. Perhaps if you responded to her letter saying you disagree with her assessment of you and that, regardless, you’ll always love her.
Something like that would open the door for her to come back to you, which is the most important thing.
One other thing that is going to be downvoted to oblivion. Are you the type who routinely uses bigoted language about minorities? If so, stop. It’s not a great idea to do so, and certainly not in your daughter’s presence. You make her sound like the typical sky-screaming leftist we are all familiar with, but it’s possible that she is partially right.

No offense, but you were actually contributing to her fantasy lib existence. This is part of the reason so many college students turn hard left. They live in a bubble on campus where everything is covered and they have no responsibility for their own lives.
Good luck, but first step should be completely cutting all financial assistance including carrying her on your insurances. You'd be amazed how fast earning your way through life changes your political beliefs.

There's one option you may have missed...
You have the age old problem of teaching your kids real world lessons. You definitely are not the first, or last. But she brought politics into it, Marxist politics at that. Keeping in mind the left's idea of compromise or unity is 100% compliance. So your solution does not lie there.
The solution MAY be in merging real world with fatherhood now that politics have soured the relationship.
Continue to support her, especially if the wife inisists. But make her pay you back.
I would literally invoice her. And charge interest (not usury you may even show points taken off and line item it as "daddy discount". I'd make a fake name on the invoice something like "Mom & Dad's Payday Loans".
The benefit to this is it keeps the lines of communication open just in case.
Your predicament is complete cutoff, including communication, or let her continue down a path that will indeed have to end someday.
You get a little bit of both.

I can’t imagine letting something like politics come between me and my children. It’s so easy just to not discuss something that divisive.
