If that were true, I would not post here, and I would find a safe space for me where everyone agreed and thought as I did.

OP, please do consider this re your hate for POTUS Donald Trump: America has him, and his administration, as President for 3+ more years. You make CNN & whatever MSNBC is called now look like good ol' conservatives in comparison. And after him we will have Vance for another 8 yrs.

Trump has been selling his brand long before becoming President. He’s not doing anything new. What a silly gripe.

Because you would do the same if you could.

Trust me you don't need to be an insider to profit from the overreactions.

Many of his supporters embraced this narrative wholeheartedly, believing he would dismantle the machinery of corruption from the inside.

He's literally at war with the leadership of the FBI and CIA under Obama and Biden.

I’m sincerely trying to understand the mindset. How do you justify this shift? How do you process it?

If you were genuinely sincere -- you would do your own evaluation first. Include them in your dissertation of a TDS post.

But instead, you use words like: brazen, surge, ripe and betrayal .

And use assumption, emotional pleas and conjecture.

If you were sincere, you would be able to answer some of your own questions with legitimate, real-world examples of how Trump continues to work to eliminate the large-scale corruption in the entire ranks of our Government.

But you go right ahead and continue to feign confusion and try to bang that "can you believe he's doing this?" drum.

Sincerely.

Trump has monetized the presidency for his personal benefit to an extent that even the most cynical observers didn’t
expect. It’s disgusting and likely a violation of law in some cases…

So no one here has been able to try to explain---everyone keeps using the "I don't believe you" trope, which is a bit confusing since this is a discussion board.

The effort put into your post could have been one that gives a few thoughts of why his financial gains are not a concern of anyone here.

Maybe that's why no one can reply with any thoughtful insight into this.

The Jan 6 attack is somthing we will never agree on, as you all seem to think it was some grand conspiracy of Antifa and now FBI agents committing the crimes

That's not what people believe. Many believe that J6 was somewhat orchestrated/egged on by the FBI, and that Antifa was there/played a role. That doesn't mean that only FBI/Antifa got violent.

But bigger picture, the biggest difference between your view and the view on the Right is that those of us opposite you don't agree that J6 was an insurrection, it wasn't orchestrated/led by DT, and the targets of Biden's DOJ should have only been individuals that got violent/and not include those that didnt.

he was already a billionaire when he took office, it is safe to say he was the wealthiest president before he took office in 2017

the wealthiest politician in US History is Michael Bloomberg at $106 billion, 20 times what DJT is worth

Pritzker is the only one in office who comes close to DJT at $3.9 billion

He could lose half his wealth and still be the wealthiest politician in american history.

You could lose half your weight and still being obese, keyboard warrior loser

He was the wealthiest politician in America the very first day he took interest in politics.

The swamp doesn't drain in a week, a month, a year or even a decade. It took 70 years to build and if history is any indicator, it will take decades to unmake. It is what it is.

Look, I'm not thrilled about the corruption that is still rampant, or Trump's seemingly "about-face" actions on things like the Epstein debacle, but I've been forced to go into long-term Bongino Rule mode on these subjects. Trump has shown me enough to know that his admin is taking very decisive action to expose certain things. For example, I don't think people realize how HUGE it was to designate the anqueefers as a terrorist group. That opens up the door for federal investigations into their communications and their financial funding, which will likely end up being tied not only to people like Soros but also to people within our own government that directly worked to aid the people like Soros in funneling funds to the anqueefers. This can of worms is BIG and DEEP.

In the big picture, Trump can't get a lot done in his limited time remaining in office, especially with the 97% corrupt GOPe actively subverting him. However, he can bring down a few key players and if he can merely expose the undeniable truth, then the "new media" (people like Tucker, Shawn Ryan, Joe Rogan, Megyn Kelly, etc.) can expose it all to a massive audience that the legacy media doesn't control.

The Trump name was first trade marked during the 1980's and has been used by his businesses ever since. Trump Tower, Trump casinos and golf courses.

Donald Jr and Eric Trump currently run the private company and have since 2017. The founders of the Trump Organization were Donald Trump's father Fred and his Grandmother Elizabeth.

The Trump name is licensed to many collectable products, such as to the watch company that is mentioned and many other companies.

Nobody is forcing anyone to stay in a Trump property, play at a Trump golf course, or buy a Trump watch, hat, black velvet painting, etc. You can it you want but you don't have to and it's right there in the open for the public to make that choice.

It's not like Eric and Donald Jr. are shaking down world leaders, oligarchs, and Chinese business men in secret behind closed doors telling them "I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows that you will regret not following my direction".
