Read on Twitter this morning that the high command in the French military threatened Macron to do something about the riots, or that they would. I’m not sure how accurate that report was, but I wouldn’t say it’s impossible. Local citizens are fighting back in some pockets with baseball bats and such.

None that I could find, not that I’m some kind of sleuth, though. Apparently information is being censored in France. Not everything that has happened is coming to light according to some tweets out of France. I also have no way of verifying anything, so I just have to take it all with a grain of salt.

To add to that, a big chunk of these rioters are born and raised in France from Algerian parents or grandparents (France and Algeria have their own ugly past). The Muslims have no desire to integrate into French culture with the exception of clothing. At some point there will either be a breaking point with a reactionary government taking control and clamping down on these people, or total submission.

In no legitimate country does a military have the authority to boss around their head of state saying take care of the problem or we’ll take care of it. That’s third world shite
