If I recall correctly, Rex is not one to blame cops immediately. I think he is being consistent.

I could be wrong. but it would be the first time ever.

Before this is said-and-done, I'd bet even money Deputy Scott Peterson was ORDERED by Israel's Office to stay in place. Just wait for it.

He's being condemned as a coward on all fronts. If he was ordered to stand down wouldn't he be screaming it from the rooftops?

That also raises the question of how long do you listen to gunshots before you ignore orders and go in anyway.

Yeah, in fairness, I seem to recall him being fairly rational about the whole Alton Sterling incident. That stands out because it was so surprising.

That's putting the cart before the horse. If the student didn't have the weapon in the first place there would have been no need to call the police at all

If Sheriff Israel and the FBI did their jobs properly, the murderer would have been forbidden from possessing a pencil...let alone an AR

Would you have gone in if Marco Rubio and Dana Loesch were in there mowing down people?

Unless (exactly like Darren Wilson in Ferguson) his lawyers are advising him to say nothing, despite the false narrative.

This is on the failure leadership from Broward county sherif Scott Israel. He is a big lefty with a agenda who wants to ban guns and his department is full of pussies. Seeing Dana Leosch destroying him the other night is all I need to know about him and he needs to be held accountable for this tragedy. If they did their job one out of 39 times they were informed about Cruz this tragedy would not have happened.

While these are usually contained in the one thread, it seems appropriate to share this in here.

Maybe. It may even be good advice but it's good advice I would be unable to heed.

As a kid growing up watching Miami Vice, this is disappointing.

We don't have a accurate timeline, the whole shooting lasted 6 minutes, it could have stopped before he reached the building.
Just like every situation involving a cop, no body here was actually there, we don't have the details of the encounter, why the rush to condemn someone without all the available informantion?

I have attended active shooter training and you are trained to go toward the gun shots in this situation.

its obvious to me the sheriff, et al came out hard against guns because he knew his dept was derelict

And this will be when the MSM stops covering this shooting and it is relegated to Vegas status.
