re: Unless we're hiring someone who has a game this weekend, I don't think we have a coach yet

If the hire was a coach whose season has ended, and it's been done for a while, why wait on an announcement?
Maybe there’s a massive decrease in their buyout after 12/1.

A vast majority of that was just one wallet. There were definitely several others that took $50k or more out as well.

Got word today that we have to have negative test every three days beginning Friday. I’m a Fed contractor but my company isn’t paying for the tests. Does anyone know where I go and not have to spend $130 per test at Walgreens?

New earbuds squealing for other callers
Posted by okietiger13 on 3/13/20 at 9:45 am
Posted this on Tech board but didn’t get any responses. Thought I’d try here.
Just got these earlier this week. No issues the first two days but every time I’ve been on a call today, the other person complains about my phone squealing. I’ve tried restarting my iPhone, forgetting the Bluetooth device then reconnecting. Still having the issue. Anything I can do other than sending them back and getting a new pair?
There’s no issues for me, just the other person on the call.

There’s a New Artist in Town. The Name is Biden

NY Times
quote:
LOS ANGELES — Dressed in Oxford boots, jeans and a long sleeve T-shirt, Hunter Biden ushered a reporter down a stone walkway, into a pool house-turned-art studio in the Hollywood Hills.
Hunter Biden was not certain what the world might say of his new pursuit, but he maintained he was serious. He said he had made a lot of mistakes in his life — he has spoken openly about his history of drug addiction — but becoming an artist, he said, wasn’t an impulsive decision.
quote:
As an undiscovered artist, he is better situated than most: living in a rented, 2,000-square-foot house in the Hollywood Hills off Mulholland Drive, with a Porsche Panamera in the driveway, plenty of natural light and a pool house he has transformed into an art studio.

re: Should Stone be pardoned now or later?
Posted by okietiger13 on 2/20/20 at 12:23 pm to FlexDawg
As long as Stone has options to appeal, he should wait. There's a reason he has been packing the Appellate courts for 3 years now.
It should be a simple "reverse and remand" decision from the Appellate court if nothing more based off the corrupt juror alone.

If the DOJ prosecutes someone on a process crime (lying during an interview with the FBI/DOJ), they do it because they have nothing else.
If the DOJ doesn't prosecute someone on process crimes, that means they have an airtight case ready to to prosecute the individual with.
The only reason McCabe didn't get charged for a process crime is because they have airtight cases that will jail him for decades.
The only reason Stone got charged for a process crime is because they didn't have anything else to charge him with.
Learn how the DOJ works folks. Justice is coming.

MUNICH (AP) — A senior U.S. official said Friday the United States and the Taliban have reached a truce agreement that will take effect “very soon” and could lead to withdrawals of American troops from Afghanistan.
The official said the agreement for a seven-day “reduction in violence” to be followed by the start of all-Afghan peace talks within 10 days is “very specific” and covers the entire country including Afghan forces.
The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to discuss details ahead of an official announcement.
The developments come as U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defense Secretary Mark Esper met Friday in Munich with Afghanistan’s President Ashraf Ghani. They spoke on the sidelines of an international security forum in Munich.
