If you were hiding in a room and someone was going door to door killinf people down a hall, would you want a gun?

It’s crazy how much law enforcement messed up in this case and didn’t do their job and protect the citizens . And then you have people who want to take guns away from law abiding citizens .

If the student didn't have the weapon in the first place there would have been no need to call the police at all.

If the police would have acted upon his threats and 23 -39 visits to his home he wouldn't have been able to get a gun. There wouldn't be 17 dead, and no one would be exposing Israel as a first rate douche bag of a leader and sheriff.

But wait, that shows just how flawed your first response was in saying Government can save us by enforcing the law...You're still a dolt.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were ordered to stand down.

But, aside from that, to automatically proclaim these police officers were derelict is jumping to a conclusion. Might have had to assess the situation before charging into it. An objective person would like to hear their explanation before condemning them.

Ugh we're actually doing this

People in Australia have a difficult time adding 2+2; it's not surprising they'd agree to being disarmed.

Clearly the solution is to only allow police to have guns, then.

And there are people out there that want to disarm law abiding citizens when we repeatedly see that the govt. fails to protect its citizens.

I keep saying it, but I’ll say it again, you are your only line of defense in these situations. The cops are not going into the building in these situations while the killing is taking place. There is absolutely zero reason that dozens of people have to keep dying and yet time and time and time again you’ll find the cops outside and not engaging and neutralizing the threat in a timely fashion.

LEO uses that (it's their job to protect citizens) aka FEAR to justify taxing folks. It should be clear it's your job to protect yourself. That's why firearm ownership is so important. RE freedom: "The hair comes with the hide"

I know that’s what they signed up for, and kids getting massacred is a pretty darn good reason to risk your life, but I’m not gonna judge these guys. They have families too.

I judge them.

If you are military or LE - you know that risk is in the equation.
