BREAKING: The foreperson in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial just delivered a note asking for one juror to be removed for not following the rules regarding the law's definition of reasonable doubt. Defense attorney Kevin Reddington then asked for that juror to be removed.

The prosecution, however, stated that it felt the judge's instructions to the jury were sufficient, and the existing jury is now continuing to deliberate, as instructed by the judge.

A man on the jury should start saying that Clancy is hot so the women on the jury will hate her

Can a lawyer opine what they think the jury has decided?

You are on retainer for tree fiddy.

The three male jurors need to start talking about how hot Clancy is…there’ll be a unanimous murder one guilty verdict in short order.

How would CBS news know that since the judge didn't read the note.

Misguided assessment. Maybe that one hold out is a radical who believes no matter what she is NG.

Or could be 11 voting that way and one baw is the hold out

Defense admits she did it.

There is no reasonable doubt.

The entire jury (except one) has failed to follow instructions.

Does this state require 100perce t agreement for conviction

If so praying for the holdout in potential acquittal which is shameful

There’s no reasonable doubt that she committed the killings

There is reasonable doubt as to whether or not she was insane, because Massachusetts law is retarded and puts the burden of proof on the prosecution to prove she was not insane. That’s essentially impossible to do. Best you can do is often something like an expert witness in this case that says something like “that’s not normally how insanity works”. But that’s not disproving insanity in many people’s minds beyond a reasonable doubt

Fairly certain it’s
- 9 emotional women
- 2 men who think she should be behind bars but are principled and insist on following the law as written
- 1 man going WTF

In fairness to MA I don’t think the issue stops with their retarded law - to me the more macro issue is we treat the insane differently. I guess we could keep them from getting the death penalty, but anyone who murders another should be locked in a box for the rest of their existence. The fact that this is not how society works is abhorrent to me

"They" better hope I'm never picked for jury duty on a case like this. No way, no how, I would EVER budge on a guilty verdict. And I'd tell those fricks all about themselves (who thought differently) every single minute. They would hate me!

Ordinarily, that would probably mean that they were 11-1 for guilt, but the fact that the defense lawyer was screaming for removal obviously means that HE thinks it's 11-1 for not guilty.

Clearly he knows more about it than we do.

This seems like egregious juror intimidation.

The sidebar that was done publicly, singling out the apparent sole juror, is basically putting a target on that juror’s back for when they will invariably be publicly identified.

I don’t know if this is standard protocol. But it certainly seems abnormal and very dirty.

The defense did not kick the crap out of the prosecution. The defense started from the stronger position of the prosecution having to prove the murderer was sane.

He doesn't want a mistrial because the immediate tik tok craze will die down they might sequester the next jury.

But he really doesn't know what the jury is thinking. We all think the same because that's a reasonable Inference. This jury might not be reasonable

Someone was saying that the one holdout is the only person on the jury who thinks she's guilty.
