People are so concerned about right now, they don't care what happens tomorrow. "Getting" drumph and "teaching republicans a lesson" is the most important thing in their pea-sized brains.

To me it makes no sense to keep people in power who have failed on every promise they made in the name of the most corrupt admin in history.

This. I think this election was more about holding people accountable versus thinking the other party will fix everything.

I've been telling this forum the reason this shite was going to happen for the past 2 years.

And you stupid fricks thought calling people panicans, liberals and democrats was somehow going to make people keep voting republican.

Hold people accountable. Subpoenas. Investigations. Impeachment. Part of getting our country back on track is to root out the rot that MAGA has grown into. Trump has no allies left and the Republican Party needs a reckoning to transform themselves.

I voted for Trump 3x (I know that’s a big joke around here but it’s true). I didn’t vote but I’m happy how the election played out. I don’t think the democrats are going to do jack shite but at least they’re not going to tell me it’s raining while they’re pissing on me. TRUMP did more than make some bad decisions he betrayed people like me that supported him, when there was a real social cost to doing so, for years. frick him. I’m going to be happy the day the Democrats send his dumb arse to prison.

Because we were on a runaway ship.
Republican politicians abandoned nearly everything they were supposed to represent

This wasn’t a conversion to democrat. This was a “frick you. We won’t accept this shite anymore.”

This administration and his cult politicians were Israel first, America last.

No one on this board that voted Trump voted D yesterday.

The 18-30 year old 2024 Trump voters that carried the election MAGA spent the last year calling Jew hating poors did, though.

Good job, MAGA.

From the replies, that’s what I’m gathering. I’ve seen two mention this already.

What I want to know though is did they stop and ask themselves what would be the result of handing power back to Democrats? Like, now that they’ve cast their vote for Democrats, what exactly do they expect the Democrats to do?

What legislation do they expect?

Did they even bother to ask this very important question? Or was it all about punishing Trump?

Congrats, you can have your moral high ground and feel all sassy when you don't have any say in politics, maybe ever again.

First (and hopefully last) time I have ever voted for a Democratic Candidate. Roger Marshall was a horrible senator who was self serving and did not have Kansas' best interests in mind.

I can only hope Adam Hamilton will be willing to cross party lines and that he cannot be bought like most politicians. I imagine Hamilton would have run as a Republican if there was a Democratic incumbent, so I can hope he votes more like an independent on key issues.

I voted for Letlow last night, even though I thought she was a poor candidate, but she is light years better than Davis.
