we have had this conversation before and destroyed the chinese tariff hater poster who shall not be named.

head back to the kiddie pool you are under water here.

search for that thread. JJ and myself probably do not feel like typing all that out again especially for a clown like you.

I'm not the one ignorantly believing that tariffs aren't tax increases on us.

It's amazing hearing "conservatives" celebrating Trump tax increases and protectionism.

It’s the same people cheering on SOTUS last week. No self awareness and political knowledge of a gnat. It’s the same people that still believe impeachment means removal.

fwiw I approved the China tariff. I recognize some of the downfalls of it but I do believe those to be short term for long term benefits.

Bruh tariffs are nothing but a fancy kind of tax increase on US consumers, we absolutely paid for them.

BRUH! Tell that to the all time low unemployment and real wage gains of the time.

You will do a hell of a job explaining to Billy that his REAL WAGE gain and job was pointless.

He's going to laugh at you... extremely hard!

It's why these are the way they are:

quote:

"Best To Improve Our Economy"

Nevada
• Trump — 65 (+55)
• DeSantis — 10%

South Carolina
• Trump — 59% (+47)
• DeSantis — 12%

New Hampshire
• Trump — 55% (+44)
• DeSantis — 11%

Iowa
• Trump — 54% (+36)
• DeSantis — 18%

You can spin it however you want.

No, you are the ignorant one for buying a GOPE line that they adopted from FDR.

You want to focus on a small picture and not the whole... there in lies your issue

Both are absolutely possible. It would take an absolute idiot to not understand that. Tariffs are a tax upon the consumer. There's no other way to spin it. This board makes the same exact argument when the subject of taxing corporations and raising minimum wages directly leads to higher prices for the consumers

That being said.....I'm not surprised that I'm having to explain this to you.

It’s a tax on the consumption of imports. China responded by more currency manipulation and ironically imports from China dropped AND we brought in more tax revenue from China. Every tariff policy is not Smoot Hawley. It takes a nuanced approach to implement them effectively. Trump implemented them effectively to benefit the US.

There is no spin needed.

Like I said. Go to Billy and tell him his "price increase" out weighed his real wage gain and job. He, like most, will laugh.

You don;t have to explain shite to me. I know way more about the tariffs than you have ever attempted to explain.
