I would. When dial up AOL came along I was all in. Now it’s just too much. I could go back to reading the newspaper in the can with no regrets.

So many people in this thread who would ditch social media and blame it for the problems we have.

While posting on social media.

I'll keep my internet thanks. I don't let wacko extremists affect my life. On either side.

The internet's biggest problem is it gives losers a place to congregate and feel part of a group

If we had a more honest and critical media, this wouldn't be as big a problem.

It would be better if we retained shaming "bad" habits, hobbies and choices, but we have a media that forces celebrating any and everything. So they aren't critical of any information or reaction and are only supporting one side.

But we don't have a real Media anymore to hold culture and the masses in check.

There'd be no Joe Rogan podcasts and no porn videos on my phone.

Shitting won't be the same either.

Absolutely, for my children's sakes. If I was single or childless, sadly I think you'd have to pry it from my cold dead hands.

I survived the first 21 years of my life with no or very limited internet so yes I’d go back to pre internet days.

I know how to entertain myself and survive without the internet.

Today’s generation would be screwed.

God yes. I'll take 3 TV stations that go off the air at midnight and come on at 6:00 a.m.. a newspaper with real news and the ability to walk anywhere I want without the fear of getting mugged.

I get all the great things about the internet that make life easier, why would I give up for some things that have had zero effect on my life in any way?

I keep seeing this as the reply for those who say they would not.

Do you actually believe the negatives I refer to have no effect on you?

Absolutely. I see it on a daily basis. People online think we’re on the verge of a race war. I’m out interacting with the public of all races and everything seems completely normal. I can actually tell when I run across a person that has Facebook or spends a lot of time reading inflammatory shite by the key words they use.

It’s pretty saddening when I read Facebook and twitter or look at some of the 24hr “news” propaganda machines
